One of my absolute favorites, between the harmonies, the stellar Mitch moment, and no less than 3 modulations, it’s chills every time. While Matt has his solo early on, Scott holds down the bass perfectly then immediately switches up to his piece with ease. And where would we be without Kevin’s incredible rhythm/percussion supporting and sustaining the whole ride. Kirstie’s powerful voice represents Nala’s character beautifully. I know they each are representative of favorite characters in the story but I can’t remember who is who.. I have no doubt someone will be able to add that info. Just love this so much, I’m gonna go watch again! I can’t remember, have you ventured into the musical portal of Kevin Olusola’s KO channel? There’s no end to his talent and creativity. You’d enjoy the heck out of it!

Talent, passion, work ethic, creativity in arrangements, use of range, and settings...PTX has it all in spades.

They are masters at vocals, dynamics, arrangements and performances, they’re just PHENOMENAL and always in PERFECT harmony ❤️🙌🙌

This is one of my favorite PTX covers.

If you don't have a chance to see them live...I suggest that you react to a LIVE concert "2016 PopSpring Concert", which MTV sponsored so the video and and the sound are very special. They cover 4 of their own songs in this video...truly AMAZING, and will give a perfect vision of how they perform live !!

You’ve mentioned before they must’ve had a great voice teacher in high school, you’d maybe be interested in seeing the Trio Sings Telephone by Lady Gaga in Concert.. I think it might be the video that was shown to Avi to intice him to be part of PTX. Kirstie even beatboxes 🤩

It is amazing what the human voice can do! My favourite parts are the more stripped down parts with the warm, rich sound.

So glad you did another PTX song! Wondering if you have seen Kevin's solo covers of Down and Sign of The Times? His cello-boxing is something to witness!!! You won't be disappointed. If you haven't seen Mitch's solo cover of Your Power by Billie Eilish, it is a must see.

I had a quick look at your playlists, but didn't see if you had covered the Superfruit (Scott and Mitch of PTX) with 3 other amazing singers covering Katy Perry's song Rise - it is incredibly emotional and empowering. Would highly recommend this.

The magic of harmonies is that they create "ghost notes" in our minds that also add to the fullness of the sound. This is a perfect example of five voices sounding as big as a full choir. On the down side of this effect, I worked with radio frequency transmitters -- we had to be careful that the frequencies we used did not create inadvertent harmonies that "jammed" our own receivers.

Perfect harmony- absolutely. They all look gorgeous, too. This is one of my many favorites!

Sean from Boyz II Men was a judge on the third season of the Sing Off when PTX won. His group was still touring and he joked at one point that he was taking notes on whatPTX was doing.

One of yhe best things about watching PTX reactions is, we all know what is about to happen. Mitch is about to slap the heck out of us. In amongst all of the incredible harmonies. None of which would be possible without Kevin's amazing 80s themed percussion. Knowing this only makes it better. Because we know you are gonna just love it Probably babbling. May your day be filled with hope, joy and love. Share it with EVERYONE you come in contact with. The world will be a better place.

They are incredible. The harmonies and arranging and mind blowing.

They are really mind-blowing live! I hope you'll get to see them one day, but in the meantime there is Popsring 2016 which is a must see, Also, from 2022 the recent Hollywood Bowl concert and even more recent Christmas Spectacular concert were streamed, so there are quality videos of both.

I agree, this is an amazing performance by PTX! So glad it lived up to your expectations! Not to be a downer, but PTX has finished the US portion of their current tour - starting March 2023 they'll be overseas (Asia, UK, Europe) for the rest of the Christmas Spectacular tour dates. On the other hand, I can think of worse reasons for going overseas than to see PTX live in concert!

There are some good live videos from two recent Pentatonix performances -- their Hollywood Bowl concert last fall where they performed a selection of music from the group's history and their recent US "Christmas Extravaganza" tour. There are some decent fan-recorded videos and fans also captured video from the professionally recorded live streams of both events.

Another must see is Jolene that they recorded live with Dolly herself. ✌️💙

If you react to "Last Christmas" on their new album "Holidays around the world" you will witness some amazing beat boxing by Kevin.

sadly they haven't performed this song live... yet. I wonder why

Man they are all soooo good.

Sometimes I think ppl have gotten so used to mitch greatness they tend to bypass his abilities to focus on the other members. For me as mitch is my favorite I want to hear more praise toward his talent and mastery of it. They are all amazing talents but there's a reason mitch gets so many solos when every other member drops out. They've done that since the final sing off. Mitch has a once in a generation counter tenor voice. We shouldn't forget that or allow ourselves or others to become complacent with that talent.
