Your Strawberry's Wake reaction is what got me hooked to your channel. I'm been a HUGE DGD fan for while. You should check out some of Tilian's solo stuff as well, Hold On would be a cool one to see you react to. Also, check out Blue Dream by DGD as this one was sung when Johnny Craig was the clean vocals (prior to Tilian). Great song that shows off Johnny well. Awful human, incredible vocalist.

All the dynamics and just harmonizing with everything they use in their songs is so perfect and original. But I was only introduced to them like 2 months ago and I already love all their songs. They all seem to just be in sync and know their part in songs, they make it seem like it should be illegal to play this good. *I feel the passion radiating*

The best part of dgd is that nothing they do goes together but some how they blend it so amazingly. Punk, pop, funk, jazz, rock, highs, lows, cleans, screams . They have the ability to litterally do any sound and make it work and no other band has anything close to that blend atleast none i have found. The sound, the look and the music videos. They all blend in everything so well it just works.

inspire the liars or One in a million. ive been addicted to one in a million for the last week or so. this album is my favorite so far. one in a million has just so much going on in it. ill listen to the drummer in one go, then repeat and listen to the guitar and they both seem clear as day then listen to the whole song and its like pure, controlled chaos. its fantastic.

Relatable - I am also jealous and wish I had his voice, haha. I knew one song by DGD, and I finally sat down to explore their music...my GOD I was missing out! I'm absolutely obsessed and have been listening to all of the albums Tilian was involved with non-stop for the past two weeks. I love everything that goes into making music, but my fixation has always been vocals, so it was really exciting to come across Tilian's voice. He's now in my top favorites. And I'm really enjoying watching all of your videos covering them - it's been such a pleasure, so thank you!

i love your assessment of their songs. much better than the usual run of the mill youtuber’s with no musical expertise. i agree tillian’s voice is out of this world and he has his own uniqueness that is unmatched. you should check out their earlier different singers to compare the bands sounds. lemon meringue tie with johnny craig, or powder to the people with kurt davis are both amazing songs from their early days

Something cool to note about this band is that Will Swan (guitar) and Matt Mingus (Drums) are the only members to be in every album and Jon Mess (screams) was only not in one album due to medical issues. I think Will and Matt are just one of those duos that cant be matched.

A lot of people are saying "inspire the liars" is a great song you should review next, but I want to make the case for Stroke God, Millionaire. It really showcases the band's rhythmic skills while still having a super upbeat energy and an AMAZING showcase of their vocals. Their guitarist does his funky rock/metal/blues thing again and theres plenty of "feel changes" that bring a whole song together flawlessly

When I discovered them in February 2020 I created a playlist in Spotify called DGD-favorites, a few weeks later that list was filled with every single album :D I can't even put together a top 10 list with songs that I would like you to react to so I'll just write the first ten that comes to mind: Parody Catharsis, Story of my Bros, Semi-Charmed Life (awesome cover), Inspire the Liars, Chucky vs. The Giant Tortoise, Heat-Seeking Ghost of Sex, Exposed, Midnight Crusade, Night Sway, Spooks.
