Stoked you’re diving into Coheed. Their concept albums are some of the most insanely moving pieces of music when following the actual story…ugh legendary

Once you realize what their name ties into, your mind is going to be blown. The whole idea behind this band, their existence, how the albums tie together, it’s unreal. I’m not sure if any other band that has gone to the extent of these guys in a story surrounding all of their albums. Claudio is a genius.

Coheed and Cambria named their band based off of the main characters in Claudio’s comic series “The Amory Wars”. The band itself is based off of the story.

Their acoustic is what got me really into them. 2006ish maybe they did like an mtv unplugged and I was hooked. They are by far one of my favorite bands of all time.

My daughter's middle name is Cambria... They're actually the reason I really started playing music myself.

Every Coheed reaction video I see further reaffirms how underrated Coheed is. The level of musicianship is amazing!

so ive been on a kick of watching people react to coheed songs. i love the fact that everyone hears it and just praises it, never heard a negative word, even from people who admit its not their wheelhouse. also there is just something about this song in particular that just give me chills, so damn good .

"It makes you feel like you're on a journey." This is true of just about every single Coheed song since they are mainly a concept band. Story driven songs and lyrics and they've got some seriously long epics in their catalogue. Awesome stuff.

They are one of my favourite bands- they have so many awesome songs. They use 'terminally-climatic form' in a lot of their songwriting. Love your channel!

You're absolutely right about their live performances, I've seen them live three times and each time their energy has been incredible. I've never seen the entire audience of a concert sing along to a bands whole setlist with the energy of a coheed audience, I absolutely recommend catching them live if you have the chance.

Dude, very good point about the guitar solo mixing. I've listened to this song so many times and that didn't click until I watched this just now. It did the trick and totally rocks with the power of the band and the same volume.

Saw them at The Rave in Milwaukee in 2014. They were incredible.

Those first few seconds go so hard I had to pause this video, go listen to the song myself, and then come back. Holy. Shit.

These guys put on a killer live show. They are just as tight as they are on the records, with some extra flair.

Definitely one of my favorite bands, 'In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth III' and 'Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV' were both masterpieces, would love to see anything from either of those albums..

This is one of the best songs I've heard from them in a long time and that's really dating something because I love this band. So much fun.

Coheed and Cambria are the parents of Claudio (not the singer, the character) who is the main through line through their first six (? not sure if Prizefighter Inferno counts) albums. All of their albums tell one story (until recently -- that story ended and a new story has begun). There are comic books that Claudio (the singer, not the character) wrote that are pretty great.

Coheed and Cambria : The name comes from 2 characters in the early days of the comic books, There is also a story behind how the name was found and why Claudio went with it in one of there documentaries if your a Coheed and Cambria fan and have not seen those what are you doing with your life.. Jk check em out!!

On a side note the name of the band I dont know the meaning exactly but they're names of the characters in clauidos comic series called "the amory wars."

I still want to see you react to their song Jessie's Girl part 2, it was done along with Rick Springfield guessing as a follow up to his famous song. It has nothing to do with the concept of their albums but it genuinely feels like the perfect blend of his style and theirs. I'll be seeing them in exactly 13 days on their cruise that has been booked for 2 years and delayed thanks to Covid, it'll be my first concert in 2 years and I think the 17th and 18th times I've seen them, I cannot wait.

Not true. They've been compared to Rush, but have been pretty adamant that they never listened to Rush. They have been quoted saying Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and Faith No More to have been their biggest influences
