Beautiful job on the the equipment stand... Just a clean, efficient music room, Mikko... Love the vintage equipment, and you certainly have it all set up right for the space... Hi Kris! There is thick green circle rug on the floor. I'm not sure if you can see it in the video. It improves the sound a lot. The glass doors of the room, glass doors of the book shelf and the window behind the gear causes some reverb, but not so bad. I don't think it's a huge problem, but of course there could be some improvement on the acoustics. Overall, I'm very happy with the sound. Thanks for watching!

Amazing setup! I was going to go all Yamaha originally but after listening to my friend marantz I decided to buy a vintage marantz receiver. I had the same speakers at you except mine where the first model with the air vent in the woofer cone, they where in perfect condition. I decided to sell them a couple weeks ago and I sort of regret selling them now. I sold them mainly because they where not the best sound when it came to listening to rock, hip hop, pop, r n b.... But for jazz, classical, and light rock, they sounded amazing. But They just didn’t have enough low end bass for me, but man I still wish I would have kept them lol. I ended up going with near perfect condition JBL L36 speakers and so far I’m very happy with them, I find vintage JBL speakers go really well with vintage marantz receivers, have you ever noticed that? Thank you!
what lovely set up,
Very nice
At Last some one playing music to show off their system, so often you get a really nice set up and then they play JAZZ to demo its sound, may as well go visit the local department store and go up and down in the lift. Nice set up with some classic pieces of kit, should give you years of listening pleasure. Enjoy.
It´s a really nice place man. thanks for share and Up the Irons !!!

You should try to find a nice pair of NS-1000 to match that vintage Yamaha setup.

I think the Yamaha NS-690IIIs look more cool and they match perfectly with the rest of my gear. But I will get the NS-1000Ms some day.
very nice room man..
great music room
Loved the Moomins nice dude thanks for reminding me of them :)
Are you from Scandinavia?
Very nice set up what are the dimensions for the equipment stand you built I would like to build one just like it thanks
Great video
What an amazing well thought out and executed music room! VERY NICE! Did you build all of the record and CD storage units yourself or did you "kit-bash" some of them from furniture from IKEA or another manufacturer? I see the holes in the sides of the unites so that you can adjust the shelf space. Once again, I really enjoyed your room and collections!

@@TheVinylCorner THANK YOU! I found the web site. Looks like they ship to the USA as well. I can see browsing their site will take some time. I see what you mean. Looks like very high quality.

I love your room, Mikko! It looks so cool and has this "special" touch. I am moving into another flat next months and I have problems placing all the records in one big shelf. Maybe I need to check out the Lundia one you have. Thanks for sharing :) Armien

Very nice. Type o Negative curtains?
Hi! I like your hi-fi stand. What are its dimensions? Can you describe it to me?
Let me guess, in the garage is a chopper that looks sinister!
You sell the equipment if so, how to You keep the contact for purchasing and administration .
Forgive me my friend but I thought I heard a little hum in the beginning of the demo before the music starts playing. Otherwise everything is exceptional, great set but you may check the connections. Enjoy ! ! !
Great room!
the amazing thing is, you could add uk.yamaha.com/en/products/audio-visual/hifi-components/cd-players/cd-nt670d/?mode=model and your system would have access to internet radio stations, airplay(lossess) steaming from macbook/ipad, cd and HD flac files. Hey not saying it would match vinyl, but HD vinyl flac rips from vinyldoneright.nl/ do come close.
Hi Mikko, Im struggling to get a copy of Blues Pills debut that isnt warped. Is your copy ok and if so where did you obtain it? Andy H
Nice, but where is your CD player ?, just curious.

Don Keevney Good eye! I have a CD player in our living room, which is next to this music room. But this one is dedicated to all analog music! Thanks for watching!
The speaker stands need to be spiked so you can isolate the bass, you're losing too much bass as it is.
Hi Mikko, that's a hell of a nice music room you've got there. Was the The Spell of Iron by Tarot? Such a great album, I listened to it on KZread. Very nice stands you built, would you like to come over to my place and design my music room? (lol) :) Just kidding, I'm looking forward to designing my music room. You have a very nice, cozy set up Mikko, enjoy! Take Care! Maria:)
