Nightsong is practically a religious experience when played with the scene its from considering you're freeing a child of a god, possessed of a shard of divinity, it's not too far off FROM a religious experience plus, being a sapphic myself, to find out later she's a lesbian and reunites with her lost love, this song means so much to me

Hi SPG! The Weeping Down knocked me out! It's INCREDIBLE! It's so harmonious, so sweet, it really brings out the fantasy world in which the game is set. The song reminds me of a tale told to children, like an old legend guiding the hero and his companions to a treasure. For Nightsong, it makes me imagine that our heroes arrive in a town that has been struck by a strange disease, and that our heroes are motivated to want to save it and restore it to its former glory. Wow, for Twisted Force, I wasn't expecting that! The piece makes me imagine a fairly important fight to advance the story, the boss would have several combat phases. And an excellent video as always!

Amazing analysis of the songs! "Twisted Force" has so much weight to it that it's my go-to song for serious D&D battles where there are some big, BIG stakes where failure can lead to catastrophic consequences. I never thought "Nightsong" could be used in a moment other than when I heard it from the game, but the band of warriors led by an elven shaman priestess is such good imagery for it.

I'm so freakin' late to the party as always xD Great video, i actually made myself a small loop of when you played along to the nightsong, the song was soothing before but this added so much to that feeling

BG3 music is just amazing. I just played the part where we meet Alfira two days ago and that felt magical. Great playing and analysis of this OST!! 🎉

Recently found your channel and loving the content. Its absolutely apparent how much you love music just for the sake of it. Would love to see you react to anything from Hades or either Darkest Dungeon. Frostpunk has some good stuff too.

Twisted force really works well with that spider fight. Sounds like twanging sounds of web.

Raphael's Final Act was by far my favorite, first time in a long time a song in a game not only made me laugh but hyped me up big time.

Nightsong is a song that moved me to tears. After understanding all the story behind the Nightsong, seeing that cinematic was marvelous!

I heard it described before that Twisted Force's lute was loosened specifically to invoke imagery of battle-damaged instruments. Really apt if you're playing a bard.
