Igor had gone into retirement until he heard Dimash sing. He said Dimash is the vocalist he had been waiting for his life and now composes exclusively for him. Btw, you have the best smile ever.

Igor Krutoi is Russian. Fantastic composer and pianist. I absolutely love everything they`ve done together with Dimash.

Achieving those high notes comes with elite vocal training through childhood and adolescence to preserve those high notes available before voice change to continue through adulthood. It can only be done if the necessary physical vocal structure is there for development (a rarity) and a genius level natural ability (rarer still) and requires thousands of hours of training and practice and years in swim training to develop lung capacity and breath control, 23 years of study to date in his case. He was blessed with almost superhuman drive, tenacity, those rare gifts, incredible self discipline and training by world class vocal educators, which continues. I believe the world is a better place for having this humble man in it. 🌍 🙏 Pat

How does he do this? This is not some trick that he does. You are looking at total dedication to classically train his vocals from age 5. This is intensive focus and doing "the work", practicing for hours and hours. Up to this day Dimash practises at least 3 hours a day and that is on the days that he doesn't perform. In an interview he told that there are days that he both practises and performs and that way using his voice for 8 to 11 hours. Ok, yes, his vocal cords are longer than average, but he wouldn't be able to do all this if he hadn't dedicated his energy to all the developing of vocal techniques, dynamics, living a strict life without alcohol, cold beverages, not speaking before concerts, etc..etc.. for more than 23 years now. To be a singer like that is a way of life that you have to be able to completely commit yourself to. I think all to easy people think that he was just born with this talent. That may be true for a smaller part, but it's mostly hard work. Dimash stated in an interview that it's maybe a small percentage of talent and more than 90% hard work. And singing at this level really is topsport. It also requires a great deal of stubbornness, to do things your own way, while a whole bunch of people are criticizing you for not going down the homogenized path that everybody follows. It's staying true to yourself no matter what. It's totally being free creatively, so that you are innovative and not repeating what others do. You need a strong personality for that. He is totally absorbed in his passion and often forgets to eat or he doesn't even sleep when he's working in the studio.

TYLR, please watch Dimash Kudaibergen [DEE-MOSH KOO-DIE-BER-GIN] singing DIVA DANCE from the movie Fifth Element. When the Diva Dance song was originally composed, it was intended that no human could actually hit the notes generated. It was supposed to sound alien since it was an alien opera star singing in the movie. However, Dimash actually hit all the notes and as far as I know the only human to ever do it so far.

LOL, I've seen vocal coaches and vocal teachers dumbfounded as to how Dimash can sing the way he does. You mentioned at the beginning about the length of time he can hold a note. He has crazy breath control. One exercise he does, when he can find the time, is to swim. I've seen videos of him swimming the entire length of the pool underwater. I wanted to share a link with you for something completely different from Dimash. Some of Dimash's influences are Andrea Bocelli, Lara Fabian, Celine Dion, and Michael Jackson.
