For me, the most impressive thing is that the interviewer keeps his mouth closed like he's not at all shocked by the amazingly complex technical approach Steve shows us in this video. Such a huge lesson for all of us, and I know if I was there, I wouldn't be able to hold myself. Steve is always gentle, humble and plays very complex techniques, that simply appears sooo natural. Like he says: practice everyday.

Man man man...this guy is the real deal. He almost feels the pain for not being able to speak as fast as his thoughts...and guys tell me if you had the same feeling: he simplifies everything he says to make things clear to us humans... Oh and apart from that, he might just be one of the best guitar players around, real playing, no whammy tricks... way to go Steve!!!!!!

this might be the best all time demo vid. I listen to him speak and how he struggles with trying to explain stuff to common folk just a testament oh how deep his mind is into his world of music. So humble to take the time. how he applies tonalities and themes and creates aural scapes like each song is a journey. What a treasure. saw 3 different times in hollywood with the dixie dregs . and actually the whole band amazing

"Better" guitar player? What makes for a "better" guitar player? The fact that YOU were allowed to trade some licks with him once upon a time? I think NOT. How often have you jammed with Steve Morse in order to come up with such a decisive classification? Best of all, what makes you think YOU have what itv takes to RANK these players? My friend, Morse is legendary, writes amazing music and is still a humble hard-working musician... you might want to work on the "humble" bit before you unleash such pompous statements.

Steve Morse is the favorite guitar player of MANY people, myself included, and has proven his ability beyond any doubt for many years. He's one of the nicest guys in music, who always has time for fans and doesn't turn into a diva when things go wrong. Steve and Mitch deserve better than your comment.
