i had to remove this song from my playlist bc i kept randomly bursting into tears while it was playing lmao. the calm catharsis this song emulates is indescribable, it's something that's consistent with most of your albums where there's this thoughtful and exciting settling at the end and it always gets me in such a powerful way. not to be too sappy but i just genuinely love and appreciate your work so much

13. Futura A Breath of Relief By now, this was the point in the album I finally gathered myself. It's like a shock to the system, going from all the previous tracks in the second half to here. But it doesn't feel sudden either, which is an easy mistake to make. It also gets me every time I listen because I know what's coming next.

The last three songs of Carousel are easily the highlight of the album. They string perfectly into each other and feel like a deep breath at the end of the tunnel.

Had this song on repeat for a year now and it's still fresh

so, i hear that this song is a very important part to the album as a whole and i think thats great. i love the artistic work that can be put into the feel and progression of an album even if i dont quite tend to listen to full albums or listen "in order" often, from hearing some of the other songs from carousel, i can understand how special this is. its a great album, i can tell for sure its a really nice song :>

This song is genuinely of my favorites because for me it almost perfectly incapsulates such raw and unnamed emotion and to me it simulates the experience of lingering thoughts like, the way it feels to sit and contemplate what the future might bring, who you might become of have to be and if your okay with becoming that. And then the somewhat serenity of finally being able to just sit with yourself and your thoughts without fear of being judged in some way. This song has been one of my go to’s when I’ve gone through something rough as of late and I just wanted to say how much I love your music and how it is beautiful that you are able to create music that allows the listener to not only experience the amazing stories you create but also deeply connect the listener to the feelings and plights that are present in your songs! :) 💜
