Just venting- Today's my test and i feel so unprepared for it. Im tired of getting mediocre scores even after grinding my ass for so long. I keep trying and trying but nothing seems to improve. I slacked off in the beginning but even after i realised it soon and tried rectifying it, nothing good has happened to me in these past 3 months. Classes are being tough, i can't manage time efficiently, my health issues pave in as well. Im really tired and drained because of my routine and lifestyle.

We are all here for you, even if you don’t think that, there will be one person with you. schoolwork is OK. as long as you get somewhere in the future, you’ll be fine, just keep your grades decent for now. if you fail, don’t worry, it’ll impact your grade, but just keep trying. life is hard, i know it. but if you keep finding yourself in these type of situations, there’s something wrong. clear out your mind. think of yourself as a fish. if a fish is in a toxic environment, it dies. but if it’s in a good, clean environment, it’ll be healthy. try to clear up whatever the source of this problem is.

If you are like me and found this video randomly. I needed this. Life has been so stressful lately. I love the comments and I hope the world is still like that. Most are from a year ago. I know a year isn't long, but for me so much has happened. From ending a marriage to my best friend, job problems, starting over, moving, and just trying to keep my energy up. You arent alone...and for whoever needs to hear this, dont leave this world yet, it does get better. Its been about 10 years for me, if I would have I would have missed so much.

To everyone who's studying with this music: Checklist: • A bottle of water, at least 1 liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate💧 • Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time🔋 • Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone🎧 • a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.☕ • Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone , a few pens, paper or whatever you need.⌨ •Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy 🐈 Reminder : After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me. You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book. I hope y'all had a good day, if not, that's okay too. It’s nice to know there is a community of strangers who knows the feeling of what we go through and that supports each other rather than our own family. Think about plants, the sound of water, the sound of birds, the life that is outside, your loved ones, the strange fact that you are surrounded by more objects than living beings, think about a dirty and messy space and now imagine it clean and tidy, your mind should also clear up of the mess, close your eyes and focus on your breathing, when you hear your own breathing, do you now realize that you are also a living being? It is fascinating, sometimes we can forget obvious things like that but yes, you are alive and that is a good thing. You have done well, you will do well, trust in yourself. I'm a PhD student and I have a progress report due within the next 36 hours and I have zero motivation to start it. I don't know how but I just somehow find the courage to get up, make some tea, dim the lights in my room, turn on the twinkle lights, found this playlist so started playing it in the background and I feel I might just have the energy to start again..

I'm here for the same reason, my day was outright terrible and I haven't felt this frustrated and helpless in a long time. It's so soothing and wholesome seeing how everyone is also going through different issues, yet we can all encourage each other to lift ourselves up and keep moving forward. Hiyah everyone.I wanted to say I too suffer with tension and anxiety....I found that water helps to 'ground' me when I start spiraling out into panic mode- I run my hands and wrists under COLD water,use Ice on pulse points or suck on chips,take a hot/cold shower. I'm sure I'll enjoy this mix to a disco bath....with calm(but funky) lights, lilac scented air freshener,and plenty of bubbles Mmmm...nothin wrong with indulging in some self care. I hope that tomorrow will be amazing in one way or another... for us all *peace*
POV: The lofi community makes you feel safe and understood Hopefully you guys have an amazing day/night! It's OK that you make mistakes, it's OK if you are a bit slower than others, it's OK to cry. It's all OK. If you're sad, look up funny videos online, (my favorites are the ones with animals) dance to music in your room, anything to turn the mood around If you're tired, go to bed. Get a nice cup of warm milk and drift of to sleep. Or you can read a book! Whatever works :) If you're studying, it will all pay off. Drink some water and focus. If you are thinking about your current situation, whatever it is that is currently hurting you the most in life, and thinking “I can’t do this anymore,” I know what that’s like, very very well. Maybe everyone has a time in their life when they feel that way, or a series of times…but you can do it. You’re doing it right now. You’re handling it. Maybe you don’t feel like you’re handling it well, but you’re handling it nonetheless. And every day that passes is another day closer to things starting to feel easier. Lighter. Maybe even happy again. Even if you think that’s impossible, that’s okay. It can feel that way. But just exist. Survive. Continue on through time. I hope you're doing better, something you could try is writing letters. Write a letter everyday, seal it in an envelope and write the date on the front. You could keep them and open them in the future, because someone who'll always be there for you is yourself, or you could burn them. It's just an idea, please ignore if you find this in any way unhelpful or irrelevant, but it's what helped me sort through problems, seeing them written out on paper made them look smaller. Look after yourself

Same, but if you would feel embarrassed to ask someone to talk about it with you, it’s fine. It will just progressively get worse unless you don’t talk about it. Sadly, I can’t do the same myself. I’m heading to my 15th month actually, and it won’t get better from here. If it gets to a level of self-harm, talk to a therapist or a doctor.

I've been battling it recently too. I've been hella stressed from the unrealistic expectations I try to set for myself. It's only today (tonight actually) that I find myself calm enough for once. We got this buddy.
Listening to this after being scared of adulting and trying my best but still failing and falling apart. Listening to this music is very calming and gives me hope that, through all this fear and confusion, everything will turn out okay. :)

Study Checklist: □ Water Drinking water can enhance your focus. Being hydrated is good for you and you'll be able to read or write better. □ Snack Having a snack can help fix a craving. If you keep getting up to gets a snack, your work will never be done! □ Headphones (Optional) While listening to this music, it's nicer to have Headphones so it's in your ears. Just make sure it isn't too loud. □ Comfy Spot Being uncomfortable whilst studying can stress you out or make you angry. Make sure you're studying in a nice, comfy spot. ~ That's all! Happy studying

Finally living in a safe space and have started processing trauma even as far back as 20 years ago. It often feels suffocating to try and handle this stress and new realizations and trickles of new info to work through.. Thank you for this playlist I listen to it and take deep breaths and try to clear my mind to give myself a break at times.
To whoever is reading this, everything is going to be alright. Do not be stressed, you got this. Just keep trying and never give up ^^
The comments made my heart melt… Even though I’m trying to stay positive about every situation in my life, sometimes it doesn’t work out this way. It’s totally valid to feel sadness, anger, envy, hopelessness, because the world is just built this way. Take some time and spend it on your own. Think it all over, analyse your situation and mistakes you might have made, stay true to yourself, talk to yourself. After working a lot with your past, all bad emotions will settle down and you’ll be back on track, living the best life. Nothing lasts forever, and after the lowest times come the better ones. Only one thing remains: it’s you. You are your best friend❤

As a teenager I found my classmates insufferable, noisy, narcissistic, rude and spoiled who took no responsibility for anything. It was the time when my social anxiety increased, but it was also one of my best times, I loved school! The routines were strenuous with classes from 7:30 AM to 4 PM, I got up every day at 5 AM to prepare my breakfast, tidy up my bedroom and look good in my uniform. My parents worked a lot, sometimes my father made me breakfast because he woke up earlier. School was nerve wracking because there was always something new, but it was wonderful to discover and investigate and learn. My professors were fantastic, except for the finance professor who was a pompous idiot who was there because he didn't give him anything else to do. University was really hard, with more hours of study but a time off from social anxiety because I met a million geeks and made interesting friendships with all kinds of people with varied interests and points of view. And at that time was when I began to take the first steps to discover myself as an individual and my most personal tastes, it was a stage of learning, accepting and enjoying that adult personality. Now that I am a working woman, the experiences I have lived through help me relativize and do a lot to manage my social anxiety. My anxiety is part of me, but it does not frustrate me, although it is exhausting, it helps me to promote other areas of my life, to get to know myself at this stage and to appreciate more the people who are with me here and now. Anxiety is exhausting and I am always looking for resources to help me slow down, breathe and balance. This video is great for any of those times when you need to get your heart rate up to a nice, smooth tune without that being all you do. Merci!!!

Usually, I am very stressed but today was a whole other level! My mother decided to send me to boarding school but before she did, I ran away so now I am living with my stepmom, but she takes care of over 20 cats, so it is kind of a lot. I am getting bullied at school and have felt bad recently, but this came up on my recommended and soothed my worries.... thank you so much!!!

The most memorable and pleasant time I was in school was I spent time in the library. The only suggestion I can give you is reading. We feel lonely most time.

The music isn't distracting...You won't notice when you start focusing on your work by listening to this. I always play this music when I'm studying without getting disturbed by the music it feels as if it's natural. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed. Good luck with whatever you're doing. Sometimes when I have to look at e-Mails or do paperwork I get so stressed out that I want to go into avoidance /procrastination mode. Instead I put on music like that and it helps me calm down enough to get through it. If anyone else struggles with this, I hope you know that putting yourself down for feeling this way doesn't help you. Force yourself to face your fears, yes, but also give yourself grace and re-assure yourself instead. You deserve love, most of all from yourself. You got this! 💪

I listened to this whenever I was stressed due to my exams, especially while studying and it really helped. Now I have passed them and I'm no longer stressed. Funny thing, when I listen to the song now, I remember my anxiety and get stressed. Good that there is a lot of this music out there haha!

This didn't completely calm me, but it reminded me to remind myself to take a break. If something is stressing you out, take a break, drink some water, get fresh air, settle down and read a book. If you can't calm yourself, step away, and do something that does calm you. Like drawing, reading, gaming, any hobby you have. Remember to take care of yourself, it's no use getting stressed. Sit back, relax, and do something you enjoy. You are worth the world :)

Thank you for this playlist. I am a student about to graduate. I have not been doing too well in classes and in opportunities related to my major. My peers seem to be in control and are capable of working in this field. I have acknowledged that this is not a path i can reach out to for now. My mom had been diagnosed with stomach cancer a couple of weeks ago, I thought I was handling it pretty well until today, because tomorrow or the day after we'll know how far it's along, and I feel like today is my last day of "normal", and my world can collapse very very soon. My friend that I'm extremely close to online all of a sudden just blocked me. We were talking on my way home from the store and then my dad called so I picked up and went home, but when I was gonna call him back he had all of a sudden blocked me, both on discord and instagram. It may be because I have kind of a past with his friend, but we still stayed "friends" and I thought it was all fine. I suppose I was being irrational and now he probably thinks he "played" me or something. Honestly my fault for the fact that I'm very needy for attention sometimes, but I really felt like we had something. And for him to just disapear like that kind of hurt tbh. Even if I didn't like him that much he could've at least said like "sike" or something so I know what's going on. Now it's just complete silence from him. It's only been like 30 minutes and all but like I know something is wrong. I tried contacting him through twitter and now youtube, I don't know if it will work but I hope so because I honestly don't wanna loose him as a friend. All of this is making me feel real anxious so I'm listening to this playlist to calm down, it's already been helping so far, thank you

NO matter who are you : if you read this, then I love you very much, you are a super valuable, beautiful being and you are capable of doing everything you set your mind to😊. We are never perfect in life and we all have flaws, we will fall, we will have heart brake and even loneliness but it's the fact that we can get back up, we put ourselves together as best as we can and move forward even tho it's hard to do it at times.
