It really helps to relisten and pick out the intricacies that were probably missed. As someone with little to no music theory knowledge, this is really educational. I live in Japan and K-pop number one market is exactly Japan. And that is the reason K-pop artists release songs in Japanese, study Japanese and join songwriting camps in Japan. Everywhere you go in Japan K-pop is being heard and concerts being sold out.

Japanese musicians LOVE mixing all types of styles with no boundaries or limitations. That's the way they're build, same goes with japanese fandom taste, they love and are open to this music. The music industry itself is really diverse and big, even tho kpop and western pop is really big there, there's always a big portion of genuine musicians and artists. Like its probably a very few places where musicians can be as big as popstar. In English, sure. But most Japanese reaction vids I've seen, not just for this piece of music, are from pro-musicians themselves as well, and they go so in depth into their analysis it becomes technical, tho they dumb down their explanation for the benefit of their audience, which makes it super fun, interesting and enlightening. Which shouldn't come as a surprise considering the quality and range of of the kind of music they produce. A couple of them actually have EN subs so if you like this sort of thing, I recommend you look around and check them out.

Oooooh esto es una sorpresa, justo ando de adicto con esta canción jaja
Personally, the two songs I would pick from him would be 帰ろう(Kaerou) and 祭(Matsuri). One I love the message and the lyrics, one I can grove with eternally.
Thanks for reacting to Fujii Kaze! He's currently my favorite Japanese musician. My current favorite track of his is "YABA"! I love the mood, the chord progression and the groove, it's warm but melancholic. The instrumentation on this one kinda reminds me of Silk Sonic to be honest. Another one that I think you will like is "Tsumi no Kaori", I personally think this one is the most interesting music-wise. The rhythm, the bassline, and chord progression always keeps me on the edge of my seat. It's my all-time favorite song of his! If you want some slow string goodness full of emotions you'll love "Kaerou". I also recommend "Sayonara Baby" and "damn". These 2 have simpler instrumentation but they're fun and quite addicting if I do say so myself.
As someone who has been liking him a lot, IM SO HAPPY THAT HE GOT FAMOUUUSSS like??? HAUSHAJSDHSAUH he deserves the recognition he got, thank you for reacting!
