In 2020, while listening to various guitar recordings on KZread, I accidentally stumbled upon this beautiful music performed by a Japanese classical guitarist. I liked her right away! There is something light and at the same time sad in it! After listening to this music, I immediately asked him a question - about the opportunity to share notes with me. The performer refused me) and recommended that I contact the author of the music. His name was listed in the video and I started searching the internet! It turned out that the author of this music is the British composer Steve Marsh, who wrote a lot of musical material for classical guitar! I found the official website of the composer and wrote him an email asking how I can get the notes of the very composition I liked so much. To my surprise, Steve was kind to me and sent me the sheet music for two pieces at once, and told me that he wrote this music in memory of his beloved dog Daisy, who, unfortunately, left this world. He loved her very much and spoke kindly of her. Then it became clear to me why there is so much tenderness, love and tragedy in this music.
We contacted Steve before posting the video and he kindly provided me with a photo of his Daisy! That's what you see in the video preview.
