music 2000 remix - Final fantasy mystic quest - boss battle
Music 2000 remix of the boss theme in Final Fantasy Mystic Quest.
Reposted this since people wanted it extended. First video to reach 1,000 views!
Another requested remix this is. A fairly quick (took less than 4 hours to remix, Perhaps I'd make an 8-bit version if anyone's interested) but a good remix this is in my opinion. The Sizzle sample finally got a good role in this one and the percussion was better than expected. If this one is fairly well recieved, Then I'll go ahead and make a couple more of these Mystic quest remixes (2 I have in mind but need to play the rest of the game first).

The final fantasy games like 7 and 10 all require a motion controlled style of battling. But strangely, the older games have the turn-by-turn concept (like this one) much like pokemon
Good to hear that. Despite the game being a little easy, it has great music.
Ooh, I'm liking this. Kind of sounds like the original mixed with instruments from "Tales of Phantasia."
Sorry, what I meant was, This game has a turn-by-turn style, but others like FF7 require you to use a joystick to move around and button sequences to attack. Which is better
If it's a 16 bit game, the D-pad suits the movement. If it's some like FF7, then analog sticks are a good choice from D-pad. Button sequences are fine if they are done right (like FF8 for example).
MAKE MORE MAKE MORE MAKE MORE (Protip take the transpose down one for the best effect)
Don't know if motion controls would be a good idea for those games, but it was a good choice for final fantasy tactics to have a touch screen port for what I've heard. FF's 7, 8, 9 and tactics all for playstation are my picks for best FF games, but Mystic quest is a nice break from 24 hour+ rpgs once in awhile.
Which version? The SNES, PS1 or GBA version of Tales of Phantasia? That was also another great game. I had thought of making a remix or 2 from that one but I encountered that "matched third party content" problem. Unusual since the 8-bit remix of Dark Impetus didn't get any of those notices
