You don’t even practice what you say mister president because if you mean what you just said, then you would have started by building the oil refinery in Uganda to produce final oil products like petrol, diesel, paraffin, jet fuel and etc which can give your country more economic returns instead of the oil pipe you’re busy constructing through Tanzania to export the crude oil you are extracting in the Albertin region in Uganda. From your speech, you seem to know the right thing to do for your country as a president but you deliberately implement wrong policies for selfish reasons and only God knows why you do that. For more than 35 years as a single president there is nothing you can say Uganda is best at this in the world or Africa. Even Rwanda a country that survived the genocide in 1994 under president Paul Kagame and your former student can boast about there beautiful capital city Kigali cause it’s well planned, clean, efficient public transport system and very excellent public service system as well as peace and security. You Mr. President Yoweri Museveni on the other was so preoccupied in your early years as president since 1986 with selling and collapsing all fundamental public enterprises including but not limited to Uganda commercial bank, Uganda Electricity Board, Coffee Marketing Board and the Uganda Railways which you are now talking about as vital for economic growth and yet it was very functional and operational when you took power in 1986 but you collapsed it deliberately and now you’re busy blaming World bank, IMF and other acts for not giving you money to build a railway which you yourself collapsed in your regime. Please give us a break with your petty political speeches. You can do better than this and it’s not too late always to start over and do the right thing for example you can start by improving the state of roads in the capital city, reduce on corruption and extravagant government expenditure in parliament, statehouse, ministry of defense and increase funding in ministry of health, agriculture and education, reduce on nepotism and favoritism in public appointments and replace it with merit based appointments, revive public enterprises such as Uganda Railways, Uganda Airways, Uganda Commercial Bank, Uganda Electricity Board, Uganda Coffee Marketing Board and I can go on and on but unfortunately it’s not my place to advise you Mr. President since you have people paid for that and I know they have tried to do there job but you deliberately choose not to listen to them because you have your own agenda for Uganda for example the current IGG Betty Kamya want to fight corruption seriously during her tenure in office by using what she termed as the lifestyle audit on government officials but you in your owned words stopped her and said she shouldn’t because the corruption officials are stealing money and investing it back in their own country Uganda so it’s okay and no need fight them, imagine such reasoning for corruption coming from the president. Very embarrassing but Ugandans have nothing to do until God will choose for them another leader. That’s my humble submission for today. “FOR GOD AND MY COUNTRY”

Even yourself need funding for your prosperity and thrive. If the funder tells you that you he /she will only buy you clothes and fancy cars instead of social capital to have investments. Will you develop? Staying in power doesn't matter. Listen to his pain and understand the source of the problem.
