You guys for sure need to do more Muse! Stockholm Syndrom, New Bor, Knights of Cydonia, Plug in Baby, Hysteria, Hyper Music, Reapers, Citizen Erased, Micro Cuts, and so much more. They have a huge back catalog to explore. Definitely do live versions since they are for sure a band that excels live

@@ChrisPage68 Uh, Muse forgot how to make good music? Really? I've been a fan of them for awhile and my only complaint is that they take themselves way too seriously sometimes. Their music has always been pretty solid, in my opinion. Also, heavy is not necessarily good, at least not all the time.

@@ChrisPage68 they always made good music, probably not always into your taste but they always made a great music. This time, they seem went to more heavy/metal for their album theme. Having 80s as Simulation Theory's theme, I think this one will be a lot of contrast compared to ST.

That song was definitely the biggest surprise of this yet young year.

I live for these kind of reactions! It's a mask of Matt but it's not Matt wearing it. The producer of the song wrote that the upcoming album would be even heavier so...yeah!!!

Apparently the video was shot in Ukraine and it was a 70 year old lady wearing Matt Bellamy’s face. Great video for a superb song, definitely a return to form for Muse. I can’t wait to see this live when they tour next.

Rammstein is my all-time favorite band, followed by Muse. Muse has a massive range, and I highly recommend listening to what they’ve released in the last 15 years, especially the Simulation Theory album. Or every album.

assasin live mayan was damn good man.

Muse is the only band I've ever been front row at a show and they were fucking incredible live. Matt was right in front of us but he moved constantly. One of the best concerts I've ever been to by far, the whole presentation was over the top.

I think the screaming is bassist Chris Wolstenholme. He does this on Reapers near the end.

It really surprises me how many are surprised and say that it is the heaviest thing they have heard from Muse, I think they have not heard Showbiz, Absolution, Drones and Sides B. Guys, you have to investigate more, not everything is Origin of Symmetry.

Dead Stars, Yes Please, Showbiz, Assasin, the small print, Stockholm syndrome, maybe The Handler would be a few. I'd throw in Space Dementia which is about the heaviest piano song I've ever heard, but is on OoS.

If you want heavy MUSE then look no further than their B-sides. Dead Star, Execution Commentary, In your World, House of the rising sun (Muse version), Agitated, Yes please... etc. Etc. I haven't listened to them in quite some time but there are so many more. On the albums there are quite a few as well. Assassins (probably their heaviest) stockholm Syndrome, the small print, Hysteria, unnatural selection, citizen erased (pretty much anything off of origin of symmetry) there's just so much to choose from

15 years?! That's a little extreme. Did you jump off board when Uprising blew up? They lost me a little with the last couple albums but I've been listening to them for 20 years. I'm a metal/prog guy but Muse struck the right chord with me. Glad to see your reaction to this single was like mine. This is the first Muse album I've actually been pumped about in probably over 5 years. Apparently the producer said #itonlygetsheavier. The "static-y" vibe is maybe that little bit of compression/distortion he puts on the vocals in the chorus combined with the industrial synth noises?
