At this point they had been together around 12 years already. They formed the band at school in 1992. That's a lot of time to get pretty tight. Also, I think Matt started learning piano at like 6 years old.

I too have always wondered about that too. Even though they had years of practice, they were unrealistically good at the beginning.

The Absolution era is their peak. To be fair they were already good by the time they released their first album. They've probably done like 50 songs by that time.

This is a great, artistic, rendition of this tune. This is such a talented band.....and at 58 I have seen some pretty incredible bands. Chris is an amazing bassist.

When he starts play the intro to Sunburn it's like pure ecstasy.

it's disgusting how flawless this band is live.

It's performances like this that make Muse the best live band ever. I was shocked the other day to see that Muse have picked up more awards than Metallica! It's almost unbelievable how good they are

I think his control over his head voice is one of the most impressive parts of his musicality (not to mention his godliness on guitar and piano). Have any of you guys (who can sing) tried singing in control at that high of a pitch? It ain't easy.

I saw this live at Sydney on 9/12/10, I don't even know how but it was three times better than this, holy crap it was AMAZING! When he started doing that epic piano solo my jaw just dropped. Untoppable.

I love Matt on the keyboards! Adds so much to the dimension of this band.
