Same for me ! I just took a look at their channel, and their « singles » playlist… almost all their singles are their most commercials and less interesting songs… then, you have space dementia, butterflies and hurricanes, take a bow, and so on, that are pure masterpieces and almost haven’t been noticed. Just new born and few others had a little of the reputation it deserves.

@@machintruc9457 Take A Bow and Butterflies & Hurricanes are definitely two other very underrated muse songs along with Apocalypse Please, Micro Cuts and Unintented. I couldn’t agree more. Take A Bow especially for me, it’s my favourite Muse song.

I admit I never liked it that much, too, till I found this live version. Guess, it is because the chorus music is not played with keyboard here but piano. That's what the song needs. I love it!

@SUPERLUDIO He is definitely playing the piano. I play the piano also my man, both bokos of well tempered clavier and all of chopin etudes, don't wanna brag here but have been playing for 15 years and got into some national competitions also, and play in my uni baroque ensemble. So believe me when I say this: he is playing the arpeggio right there. it is an e minor ostinato that he is playing right there, I just played along right now on my keyboard, your hands would look exactly like that when you're playing an ostinato e minor chord on the piano. he goes e minor without the e, then e diminished, then b major, then d minor, d diminished, then a major etc etc regular marching harmony. left hand descends chromatically from e, the root is ommitted in the ostinato seciton in the right hand, but it is on the left hand. I think what you are hearing is that his left hand doesn't match the more ellaborate contrapuntal bass line that the bass guitars are playing. Well there is a reason for that, because IT IS THE BASS GUITARS PLAYING THAT NOT THE PIANO! Jeez man, what is it with people and trying to create a conspiracy theory. Like this is basic marching harmony, and it just fits in your hand, and because he has good technique now everybody claims he aint playing it... jesus...
@johannsebastianbach3411
3 жыл бұрын
And why would he not play anyway?! I saw this dude on youtube playing difficult pieces by chopin while he was jamming (no I2m not talking about cliche nocturnes op 9) like I saw him play the etude op 10 no 4 and shit like that. what he's playing here is childs play. Like even that fast part that everyone looses their minds over, super simple. That's the beauty of his compositional technique anyway: he makes intricate things while still making everything perfectly playable. We are not talking about ravel here everybody!
jak on tu rozebał to ja nawet nie
