On this anatomy video tutorial, we will be covering the muscles found in the upper arm and the shoulder. Essentially, we will be exploring those muscles attached to the scapula and the humerus. These muscles are responsible for many important functions of the upper limb. Without them, we would not be able to move our arms as easily as we can. These muscles are also responsible for defining the surface anatomy of the upper arm and shoulder. For example, the deltoid is the muscle responsible for the definition of our shoulders.

I was wondering if muscles situated in other parts of the body can affect the tension distribution when punching. I've heard that in boxing its not just your arms but your core and leg muscles which help generate force, said force is largely dependent on mass and acceleration yet the elastic energy coming from muscle tissue contracting then releasing in impact may have a part to play. Could you clear up any misunderstandings i have and give feedback on whether other muscle group affect other muscle groups?

Please do this: if you show which muscle what the movement is doing, it will be great. Which muscles are involved in a given movement.

You always produce such high quality content, and you manage to keep it interesting. Thank you!
Glad I found this channel i will be learning lot's more about the human anatomy thanks
As an artist I find this extremely useful for learning muscle anatomy. One thing that would make these better for my usecase would be seeing the muscles when the arm is in different positions but just getting the basic understanding of what kind of muscles there is, their shape and position is really useful^^ So don't know about medical school but will likely end up sharing these to my fellow artists^^

Same. I'm an artist too and I absolutely love anatomy
I really enjoyed the clarity of this video. Thanks for making it. I do feel like we have more muscles than we need for movement, yet each muscle would have a specific function (probably in conjunction with others). I'd love to see what movement each muscle is responsible for or contributes to. I am a climber and I'm watching these to figure out what muscles are hurting and how I'm causing the hurt.
Love acronyms. Great video. Thanks!

PDZ1122 A machine is considered perfect if it does exactly what it was made for. If we *assume* that the human body was made with the intention that it should never have disease, then it would have been imperfect. However, who said that that assumption is correct to begin with? We are being tested in this life, we are supposed to be weak, we are supposed to fall ill, we are supposed to face difficulties, we are supposed to die. If these things didn’t exist this wouldn’t work as a test. If you look at it that way, this is actually a perfect test ground for us human beings. Perfect for what it was made for. In a sense, perfectly imperfect. And yes I did use that cliche XD If you want to talk proofs and logic I’m willing to :)

@@user-vk7co6lt2i Oh yes, the test-argument. I'm sure all those children who have parasites burrowing into their eyeball are very grateful to your god for being tested. Let's give some kid leukemia and tell him about your god's great plan. If your god existed, I'd kick his ass. All your "proofs and logic" are flawed from the outset since you are by definition delusional. I'm not going to waste time on delusional people. Pray for me! (Gags....)
ur so great, i am so grateful for you🌷
Initialy the study of human anatomy may appear extremely complicated. It's true that it's complex and your studies will not change that. As for being overwhelming, that can be eleviated if you take your study one step at a time. I found an article on Sebs Study Crammer very useful for this.
Good
Great information I absolutely liked the sense of humor in the beginning of the video plus the addition of the Arabic subtitle is just so helpful
It would have been nice to know exactly what each muscle actually does in controlling arm movement .
Hi Doctors❤️❤️🌹🌹
the announcer made it a mistake, at 8:26 where he mentions there are 5 muscles on the rotator cuff. The shoulder of rotator cuff 4 muscles, supraspinatus, infraspinatus, subscapular, teres minor. Teres major is not rotator cuff.
Sir teach a class about clavicle

Interesting, in my med school we study m. anconeus as part of the posterior group of the antebrachium- its pars superficialis of course.
