Look at the ease, since months ago, to develop a fully branch for example: years ago, it took lots of battles and XP yo reach a single TX, now you can do it almost in one day with no clue about any mechanic... And look to the "children" that shows some of the news on the YT channel: the game is mutating into an easy-to-enter-quick-to-go kind of mobile game (in my opinion, of course).

Both Musashi and Yamato used to have the same turret traverse. The big change that happen was when the captain skills were reworked. Grease the gears was changed to benefit more fast moving turrets than slow ones (it was giving flat degree/s turn rate, instead of % on the base one). That made legendary equipped Yamato have even worse traverse than this, so they buffed it. I guess they intentionally forgot about Musashi, as it is, despite its shortcomings, a very power full ship at T9. About the accuracy. Both ships have the same dispersion curve, Musashi has 1.8 sigma compared to Yamato's 2.1. Considering it is a IJN ship, it is still more accurate than the majority of the ships at its tier. Only USN ships might get better dispersion, only if equipping the 11% mod. Outside that, I think only the other IJN BBs might compete with it.

The most statistically powerful OP tier IX ship in the game STILL, with a minimum bid of 20000 Doubloons ($71.29). That is definitely going to go way above that towards $150-200 with 2000 winners. Meaning WG takes $142,500 to $300,000 minimum. THAT IS JUST THE WINNERS not the losers...

The turret traverse alone would drive me insane.

You can also lock your turret rotation with ctrl+x or make them aim at the same place using shift+x !

Why would anyone shoot guns with the turret locked? There's literally no advantage to do so, and a disadvantage of time. You can CTRL-x to lock during a turn or you can just Free Look (Right mouse) to do the same.

In SEA, Sushi is best played early in the morning while the CV mains are still asleep. Or during daytime where it's mostly young kids playing. But anytime above 3pm and you're in for a world of suffering in the Sushi. SEA has guaranteed CV games 19 times out of 20.

Subs are still worse than CVs, in a BB it mostly doesn't matter if you're spotted as you can already be seen from low earth orbit and cvs are easy to minimise damage against (provided you're in basically a 1v1 situation). Subs though, they will pop up literally out of nowhere shotgun dev strike you with undodgable torps and have enough tankiness that even a 20 inch satsuma HE shell direct hitting them will only do minimal damage.

The ricochets are one thing they changed that is really nice. (animations)

I’ve been out in a 2v2 in randoms before. I was in conquerer and matched with super US CV vs Montana and Eagle.

For any whales looking to grab this thing in auction, it's up for doubloons and if the last time it showed up is any indicator, you need to dump around 40k doubloons, or around 160 USD to get it. I got lucky enough to get it in a santa crate a few years ago and it's probably my second or third most played battleship, and even after all of that I'd still recommend against dumping that amount of money on a single ship.

I managed to get musashi back in the day and i would say its worth like 20-25k dubs but not more. In the end its just a (quite good) t9 premium ship and there are several alternatives to get ships as strong as mushashi at t9 such as alaska or jean bart during several events throughout the year. Especially with black friday just 1 1/2 months to come

I tried that but gave up, not consistent enough plus staying mid range was losing games where German BBs were supporting team better at closer ranges.

What AA? at any tier?

If you like accurate guns, Zao should be your favorite ship

in my experience, in that situation with the veremont, just go for the superstructure, you'll be hitting consistent 10-12k dmg per salvo. only fire at battleship's side when they give enough broadside but when angled like that you'll do more damage with hitting the deck. also, build for reload speed, the more shots you get off the more damage youll do since there isnt a single angle any ship can take to actually not receive damage from you. not being a dick but its your playstyle that is the reason you aren't having a good time. one great tactic if the situation arises is, park you butt towards the enemy with enough angle to allow all 3 turrets to fire, this removes the citadel weakness vs most battleships and you can legit just tank whilst they struggle to do anything to you. granted when fighting overmatch guns the same rules apply to them against you.

Like the fact that the Seattle in the first match called the Musashi a Yamato 10:50

Musashi in ranked is ok but in randoms, for me at least, never worked well. I was always uptiered and against cvs this ship is just a floating bullseye. I got it when it first came out after MO was pulled and was never a fan. I do find it amusing that War Gambling is now trying to sell a ship that it pulled from sale because it was "too strong".

Wasn't Musashi in auction just a couple months ago?

Last time the lowest bid was 40k and there were 2900 winners. Will be interesting to see what the price is now. Might be lower since people got the ship and T11 is beating Musashi over the head. Might be higher because people get FOMO

Won't bother with this ship due to the TT being sooooooooo slow

Oh no my tier X ship moved to tier IX and now it is slightly weaker against the two classes everyone is weak against anyway, the horror.... *cries in 18.1 In guns* Still prefer my Kearsarge though, now that's a busted ship.

That traverse speed is unplayable for me. I find myself frustrated with Pensacola's turret traverse (The low damage from a cruiser with a battleship traverse speed hurts), but Musashi is on a whole different level. I haven't played Yamato, so I'm not sure how I'd personally even feel about its slow traverse speed, but it at least seems to be tolerable.

I don’t have many premiums, but I do have mass and Georgia. I’m considering cashing in the Georgia to get Musashi or another ship, thoughts?

Why would you do that? It's stupid. And it's auction so it is not trade in ship. If you want a musashi go play yamato it's 2 times better. Don't ever remove the Georgia from your port.. TRUST.. It's just so much better and if not one of the best t9 BB out there.

Georgia is being played a lot at the moment in tier 9 ranked, Mushasi a lot less and that is not because less have Musashi. Georgia can do more things better than Mushasi.

@@muchoyike some examples: Georgia speed 33 knots and a 15% speed boost on top of that, Musashi 27 kts, Georgia AA value 84 Mushasi 47, anti sub depth charge range Georgia 10km Mushasi 5km!!!

I'd never pay what WG wants for these in auctions, but have kinda wanted her for historical significance. I like real ships.

I was really tempted for a second but watching a few videos like this one brought me back down to Earth. I can't even imagine Yamato without the Unique Upgrade anymore, let alone a Yamato with Bismarck accuracy. And those turrets are worse than just annoying, they actually cost you shots you would otherwise have made. Nope, I'd love to own her and for a normal T9 price I would, but no more.

Glad I got it for free, instead of $200 or more that it will go for now.

Got her in the Santa containers a while ago. The dispersion and traverse just make her unpleasant to play 9/10 games. Grind Yamato or use the dubs for steel Shikishima (buy dockyard and battlepass phases)

Basically every ship in the game can be bullied by cvs. Sometimes just the spotting can be effective bullying. Well surface ships anyways

Ive always disliked them, despite my BB stats being high, simply beacuse they are too slow and the reload is too long. I find BB play too boring and disconnected to main them. Thats just me though.

Buddy 2018 I got it for 750k free xp , and that was hell grind , as I just started game , and only T10 I had was Republique , I had no premium account , no eco bonus camos or signals , I neede to play 2 battles on my ony premium T5 Texas to can afford play one battle on Republique , I had loot of time then , so I grinded that ship June -November 2018 , and now 2023 I have over 2600 battles on her , to he honnest if I start from 0 , there are just two ship I would need is Musashi and Benham , both great credit earners ,.

The current meta is just heartbreaking. AP just seems near useless to me now. I’ve literally broadside salvoed a cruiser with a BB and had all the shots that made contact ricochet. I’ve also overpenned shells that visually would have been perfect citadels a year or two ago. Even with good aim and decision making, the effectiveness of AP just feels entirely too random now. It’s been making the game pretty frustrating to play.

Not worth at all, especially not at the price it is going to go for.

Great it is in the Auction again 😞exactly what we need is more of these in T9 ranked over matching the other bb... lets be honest this has the HP / armour of Yamato and it is ridiculous at T9... why o why can they not auction another ship for a change.

Something I've noticed is that when you have ships broadside you have a tendency to aim INTO the water and you blame the mechanics of the game. If you are doing that on purpose and see you are not getting the hits you want try aiming at the lowest point of the ship ABOVE water. I would think that the mechanics think you are aiming in the water and not at the ship. I'm just saying.

He aims at the water line, not into the water. Raising a little off the water line can be a good idea with shotgun ships like this and some german bbs tho. At least it seems that way to me at times. Not something I'd do in say a Wisconsin. O well, I'm not that great at bbs so I'm not really one to give the best advice for them.

The T9's that used to be OP now aren't, considering they can see Conde, Satsuma, and Annapolis now. Imo, anyway.

The struggle for BB players is real, big guns and disappointing damage. Which is why it takes ages to grind to a specific high tier ship.

I'm grinding to the Montana right now and currently have the N. Carolina. It's a fun ship and I usually do pretty well, but without premium I make hardly any credits. I find myself playing a lot of T7 ships to actually get some credits. I have more than enough ship XP to move up to the Iowa, but its the credits that are holding me back.

@@garystew2077 same story here, doing well on the XP but credits per battle are most of the time somewhere between 100 and 200k. Also, I jumped into T7 (Colorado) which was painfull, haha. But now doing the slow grind with N. Carolina to Iowa too and also other ships like you do. Might go faster with a premium indeed, but I don't have the time for that. To make the most of a premium day for example.

I would say grind to the Yamato but we all know war gaming is catering to the sweaty tryhards who think they're going to dunk on people in ranked. Lol no you're just going to get melt down by every HE spamming ship under the sun.

I'll be honest - the ship is good but a bit over rated.

This ship doesn’t interest me in the least.

So sad to watch. All those fictional soviet crap doing so great and the best real ships are just cannon fodder bringing mostly frustration. And here you luckily didn't even get subs or carriers. People quit participating in that farce, and the game doesn't even get full squads.

Dont understand how people still play this bullshit game,firing huge guns on full broadside cruisers for insignificant damage is horrendous .

i have it its great if play it proper only the acuracy ans sigma make you mad most of time
