My oldest sister left us a little over 3 years ago at the tender age of 31 due to ovarian cancer that spread like a wildfire and compromised her body...she was in hospice care and we stayed with her and held her hands until her last breath...this song hits home so much. Just lost my dad. He died on 11/12/17. Had his funeral this Thanksgiving weekend. This year is also my 25th anniversay and my daughter just got married in August too. This is a year to remember forever! So many happiness, yet so sad too. 😢😭 My father is everything in my life. So is my mother. I've never seen them apart. This is the first time ever. So sad for my mom, I know she's lonely. 😢😭

It's been 3 years since my dad has passed. I used this song for his slide show. Thank you Johnny Lo for this beautiful song. I try not to listen to it because it brings the tears. But now I listen to it and begin to realize I am blessed to be my father's son. It is an inevitable path that we all must walk. One day our children will walk that same path. But you have written a song that gives us hope that one day our children(grandchildren) will feel the same way to us as we felt the same way to our parents(grandparents).
