Meet Murray. Since his diagnosis, Murray has run for Friends of ANCHOR and sung for Friends of ANCHOR - and now he’s taken on the catwalk for us too!
Murray was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in August 2023, just as he was preparing to leave his job at Ineos FPS. When they found out he was ill, his bosses asked him to stay, and Murray is truly grateful for the support of all his colleagues through his treatment.
During his treatment - which included daily trips to the hospital for his bloods to be checked - he was struck by the friendliness and selflessness of the volunteers and enjoyed foot massages from our therapists.
