Love the description of complex adaptive systems connection with life: in the case of software systems this connection is indirect, via a nerd - supposedly alive - who has created it. LOL! Always appreciated Murray Gell-Mann's humor along with his broad knowledge. A true legend of modern thinking!

El copyrigth de su libro "El Quark y el Jaguar" es de 1994. Murray Gell-Mann nació en 1929, y aquí aparenta unos 68 o 69 años, poco más o menos. Así que, y teniendo en cuenta que la conferencia puede haber tenido finalidad promocional para dicha obra, estimo como muy probable que el evento debe haber ocurrido alrededor de 1997 +o - uno o dos años. O sea, algo así como alrededor de un cuarto de siglo atrás. Si alguien tiene mejores precisiones, se las agradeceremos.

Recuerdo ahora que Gell-Mann menciona la muerte de la Princesa Diana, acaecida en la segunda mitad de 1997. Teniendo en cuenta este dato y los anteriores, puedo argüir un intervalo mejorado: 1998 + o - un año.
