Murray congratulates ‘fearless’ Nicholas Reece as he is up for the next top job
Sky News host Paul Murray says Deputy Lord Mayor Nicholas Reece is set for the big job as the current Lord Mayor of Melbourne, Sally Capp, will not be contesting the next election.
“The Lord Mayor of Melbourne has decided she will not be re-contesting the next election,” he said.
“Her deputy for those six years has been none other than Nicholas Reece.
“Well known to all of us and with the lord mayor stepping away in June officially, guess who becomes the next lord mayor of Melbourne?
“The man who fires up and is so fearless.”
