This is not only one of my top favorite episodes of Murdoch Mysteries, It's also a good way of showing Autism in a way that most shows don't! It establishes the character as an outsider, but content in her own way, and it illuminates how people viewed her before scientists established a terminology for her case.

In the first season episode 6 theres a young man that also has autism and are into clocks and numbers like a geniuos. Murdoch informs Crabtree that that's called 'idiot savant' but in this episode Julia informs Murdoch that that's called 'idiot savant' like he didn't knew that before and that's bugs me alot,

Wow, y'all can still see these episodes! I am amazed! I got several notices that my effort to promote Murdoch with low-res teaser videos was getting me banned by one country or another. Season 4 used to be very hard to find; I had to order it from a vendor in the UK. I thought I was being nice to peeps in the US who were crying for more Murdoch, but I guess not. After being banned so many time, I just stopped uploading. These were never good quality video, anyway. You can now buy Murdoch seasons 1-10 on DVD or Blu Ray on eBay. Christmas episodes seem to come only on DVD, and are available separately.
