One of the most appealing parts about MD is the sound design when the visors emote, it gives the drones so much more depth with facial animation and expression! The peak of their designs, I feel.

I personally think those sounds are cute af specifically on the scene on episode 7 where N push Uzi and he made a gentle smile and the visor made that sound it was so cute and sad at the same time

The amount of detail Glitch puts into their shows is just astounding. Now that you point it out, something that just seemed normal to the naked eye (or ear, in this case) is such an expressive ad amazing addition to the characters, it adds so much. Bro Disney could never 💀

I actually like the beeping it's one of my favorite things about Murder Drones(both the show and the drones)

I love ep 6 for this because it literally says in the captions "Uzi beeping"

at another point it says "uzi buzzing" in the same episode

this made me realize that murder drones without any lines would be an interesting idea, tho it would've been hard to explain the plot and characters, but it would've been an interesting idea to have like a spin-off episode, like perhaps some drones hiding from the sentinels, without making any sound whatsoever and only communicating via visors

this is part of the reason why i’m planning to rewatch the show again with only the sound ahavgsgdhdhd i love the sound design so much my favorite has to be the noises N’s hand makes when he’s waving Tessa and J over. also the blink noises - anyone else find it strange that Tessa also has a blink noise? might just be a stylistic choice of course but still an interesting one nonetheless

I enjoy the charm of the little beeps and whirs when the drones move or change expressions. It's something that you might not pay much attention to when watching, but it wouldn't feel right if you watched the same clips without those effects.

i LOVEE the noise in the pilot where they get their wings out (for example the scene where J is abt to fly off and then gives N a virus)!! its so satisfying for some reason

The sole reason I have such a complicated relationship with the Murder Drones show is that they put in the effort to give the robots the most emotionally expressive faces possible but then proceeded to write their dialogues and personalities as nigh-emotionless.

Okay here's my theory: The eyes and heads of the drones making noises is to draw your attention. If the expression of a character is a large part of the scene, the noise draws your eye to the expression of the character. For example, in the scene where N finds the Zombie Drones tape, his expression is a big part of the scene. Or its just ambient noise. Either way it's adorable asf ghhghghghgh
