From what I can see with the info dump from the VHS. Im guessing Cyn was a not fully discarded worker drone that rebooted in a corrupted state in the drone grave yard, but was found by Tessa and brought back to the manor. Gotta remember J said *"Not another one"* Unlike the other adults, Tessa being a kid of rich buisness parents, most likely didn't have any friends and found bonds with the worker drones, predominantly being J, *N* , and gonna assume V. I'd hedge a bet Tessa initially was going to befriend Cyn, but that backfired due to how she creeped everyone out but N. Since N was viewed favorableby by Cyn as a big bro, they couldn't simply dispose of her and merely locked her in the basement were her OG AS abilities would probably manifest to escape countless times killing & turning other drones.

There are 2 explanations to this: 1st - Tessa in ep3 jumped like 5 meters into the air from her ship and onto the ground, where she didnt even have to do a roll to dissipate the forces of her fall, so she's either operating by cartoon physics, or according to her line this episode, where she says "the humans are coming", we could guess that she is not a human and is either an Ai, a cyborg / mechanically augmented in some way, or a human sub species (it's a millenia later so these may be true) or 2nd - If we look at how lightly Uzi falls onto the ground when she is stricken by an emp blast in ep1, or how high Lissy is blown up to when a missile drops next to her in ep4, or how N is able to toss Uzi above the clouds the same episode, we can conclude than worker drones are just very light, there's nothing suggesting the worker drones are completely metal, except for their arms, their head and body look like it's make from plastic, and their internal organs may not be as heavy as we thing they are

that moment never actually happened. This is a simulationl in some... weird, weird space. But that never happened, j and v never fought each otherl east not there and in front of the crowd. Why once they got far enough away that V was on them already. the simulation reset back to the original events being replayed.

At this point I think it's unfair to fully label her a villian given she hasn't really dones anything that is say evil. The Worker Drone she killed in EP3 you could argue she doesn't know what drones Cyn aka the Solver has control of and even then she would also want her pressence on the planet secret so the Solver doesn't find out.
