I find it funny how everyone understand Doll, yet she still only speaks in Russian. For the drones at least, it just gives the impression that it doesn't matter what language they speak, they can choose and understand whichever one they want... meaning Doll chooses to be a little bit different by just... exclusively speaking in Russian... Kinda reminds me of Rasputin in Destiny 2... original Rasputin at least. He could have spoken any language he wanted, but he chooses to use... well he used like, a backwards version of Russian but the point stands!

In my opinion doll is one of the most underrated characters in the franchise. Her arc is really well-written as her past, just like the infecting a mutant AI thingy (i forgot what it’s called), starts to unravel, connecting little bridges in the lore. Doll serves a great part in the lore and I don’t think many Murder drones fans acknowledge that.

2:09 - 2:22 the little jingle that you hear in the back during this scene (and every other scene with doll) is what is think is called her “theme”(* refer to edit 2)?? It appears when a character is on screen, and this specific theme for doll is seen here, and in the (arguably) best song in the soundtrack, The Knife Dance when N, Uzi, and Doll are fighting! Edit: a more noticeable version of this is at 2:47- 2:58 as well if you want to be able to notice it more when watching or rewatching the series!! Keep an eye out for it if your making theories surrounding Doll, as it marks scenes where she’s important! *Edit 2: it’s not a theme, it’s a leitmotif :)

Something that always stuck with me after seeing "The Promening" was that Lizzy never had her suspicions with Doll (at first thought), since Uzi CLEARLY saw the piles of missing posters on her bin, while Lizzy was being a bossy girl, and it bothered me a bit. Then the scene where V is crowned prom queen and Lizzy realizes somethings up is possibly the only time she had suspicions on Doll. (I dunno. Just saying.)

Something that confuses me is that Doll's absolute solver looks different in episode 2 but looks like all the others in episode 3-6. But Doll's solver eye looks normal. Lore.....?

Actually in epsiode 4 the same symbol appears with Uzi when she's standing in the distance before killing Braiden, According to a community post I saw,it appears when a solver destroys something

@@genesis_69 hmm... Or maybe when a drone is using the solver for different reasons, it takes on a different shape. In episode 3 during the prom fight, Doll's solver looks a lot of different things. I'm gonna try and pay more attention to the solver

@doorhandles11 Possibly but I don’t think they’d have to explicitly animate or show Cyn/Tessa actually chewing Doll’s core as a further indication to show she’s dead for good, and to be honest, it did sound as if she did chew slightly when she swallowed Doll’s core, but like, it would seem weird for Doll to return by escaping Cyn/Tessa’s stomach for instance.

@@genesis_69 Yeah Doll’s death for real makes me more sad after my first watch, at first you can’t quite tell what’s happening exactly, but after you’ve watched it and stuff, it’s actually sad how Doll is dead now, I also think it’s unlikely for her to return unless she comes back as some weird monster or hologram, and Doll’s core being eaten kinda shows how she IS dead, rather than if she was only killed but was left to speculation if her core remained and survived, so the fact it shows her AND her core being killed, it would seem odd for them to add all of that just for Doll to actually return and having survived.

Doll is one of my favorite characters (even though I yell “JUST BE FRIENDS WITH THEM, THEY CAN GIVE YOU OIL” every time shes on screen) 😚💖
