MURCHISON RIVER - Western Australia pt 1

G'day legends,
Here you will find me trying to race the last of the inland winter rains down the Murchison River to Kalbarri. It's definitely not what I expected it would be.

Inspiring, thanks for sharing. Love the drone shots, interesting landscapes. Wishing you more water and less portages :) Audio was great, what mic setup do you use? We do a lot of kayaking and camping in the Pacific Northwest, mostly Washington State and British Columbia. Looking forward to following your future adventures.

That would be the dream mate, too much unpacking of the kayak to be able to carry it and it would have to happen too many times each day be be feasible

What date did you actually go? I’m trying to compare the recorded water level with what I’m seeing in your video so I can judge water for next year (or theyear after)

@@SaltyDavenport cool thanks. That makes the level recorded at Emu Springs 10.25-10.22, I bet a few days earlier on 1/8 when it was 10.4 it would have been a little easier.

Mate, I was pleasantly surprised with your video and the quality of the footage as well as the narration. I went from at the beginning thinking, oh great it's some bloke who's woken up looking like he'd just had sex with a carwash, to being amazed at the footage, especially the drone footage. How did you manage to recharge your batteries?
