#DontGoViral: Against Corona - Munyakazi Deo
Join the #DontGoViral campaign launched by UNESCO in partnership with the Innovation for Policy Foundation (i4Policy)!
Through his music, Munyakazi entices the viewer with his unique Rwandan traditional instrument along with the motivating lyrics in Kinyarwanda to increase awareness for COVID-19. Munyakazi hopes to reach a broader audience through his music and inform communities on the risk of misinformation.
The #DontGoViral campaign is an online campaign to crowdsource local openly licensed content to inform communities across Africa about COVID-19. All submissions to #DontGoViral will adhere to a Creative Commons License and will be released to the public so they can be remixed, adapted, translated, and disseminated. Participants will also be requested to ensure that all themes and guidelines expressed conform with official health agency and WHO recommendations.
