When Ross Cunningham went through a hard time he found that the best way to pull himself out of his depression was to go out and start walking. Along with his Westie Dex, he has his sights set on bagging all of Scotland's munros.

Ross, you have totally inspired me with this video. I was born and brought up in Scotland, but never went Munro-bagging. Now I live in Zimbabwe, but am coming to Scotland in April, I'm going to give it a go!! Keep inspiring others, Ross - you and your fabulous wee dog!

Having had a Westie, I can see him toughing out these climbs brilliantly.

Nice. I used to hike with my westie. He could go pretty far with ease. 6 to 8 miles. I had read later on that you're not supposed to go on long hikes with them. But he loved it. I miss him a lot. He was a great friend.

Westies can run half marathons. As long as they are exercised often and build up with them

Westies are quite stubborn at times.
