10.00 the forest guest at Pambadum Shola National Park , I had an opportunity to stay for 4 days during forest department organized wildlife survey. We had trekked along that escape route and it was mesmerizing experience. There was one stone bridge on that route and it was said to be more than 100+ years old and in perfect condition. I also had an opportunity to see the other side of this route from Berijam Lake side when I had stayed there during forest department organized wildlife survey. Berijam Lake area is very serene and worth visiting.

1999 we went with our bikes a group of 14 in 8 bikes..we was caught in berijam lake and fined..a memorable trip

இந்த பாதையில் கடந்த 2003 ல் பயணித்து கேரளாவின் டாப் ஸ்டேசன் சென்றேன். கிட்டதட்ட 90 கிமீ பயணத்தை இரண்டு நாட்கள் பயணித்தேன் இந்த பயணத்தில் அந்த பாதையின் அழகை காண வாழ்க்கையில் மீண்டும் பிறக்க வேண்டும். இந்த பாதையில் பயணித்த போது மரியன் சோலை என்ற இடத்தில் 1904 ல் ஆங்கிலேயர் கட்டிய கட்டிடம் இருந்தது அதில் தங்கினேன். அதற்கு அடுத்த நாள் கேரளா வாட்ச் டவரில் தங்கினேன் இந்த பாதையின் அழகை காண இனி வாய்ப்பு இல்லை

Their plan is to use this Route to reach munnar and then from munnar to Kochi and from kochi they planned to use ship to escape to england. I dont think so Indian elites can use this road at that time and this was a secret plan so only British army personnels would have known this place. I accidentally found this history and was extremely fascinated. Hope to see a film on this
