Tapos itong song, parang pinapakita na we're all dead inside, pero mahahanap pa rin natin ang mga sarili natin, kung babalik tayo sa atin. This song is so memorable for me... It was the 22nd day of the Month of May 2020, (Oo, Buwan ng Mayo) around 9pm when I was practicing this song with ukulele. Habang tinitipa ko ang mga nota, I saw a glimpse of my father as he woke up from his sleep and goes straight to the bathroom. I didn't bother to look at him for too long. He goes back to their room and I am still practicing this song on my ukulele. It was such a normal day not until midnight comes. It was just an hour after I slept when I hear loud shouts and cries coming from our bedroom. My father is not waking up. He had a cardiac arrest while asleep. Today, we visited his grave for his pa-siyam (9 days) and there I saw a tree, a kalachuchi tree. I only remembered it all now. I was practicing this song on the last time I saw him and I saw the tree when we visited him. He had a good life and I knew that it will only get better now that he's with God. I love you papa ❤️ Just sharing how memorable is this song for me. #KwentongKalachuchi

Theory lang: Kalachuchi is the girl. Since kulay puti at dilaw, siya siguro yon kasi ang kulay ng damit niya ay puti at dilaw. Sa 7 minutes na pagsasayaw ni ate sa kalye, bumalik lang din siya kung saan siya nanggaling. The song says "kalachuchi, puti at dilaw, dahil sa init, bumabalik ang kalachuchi..." Kahit ano pang paghihingalo, panlalamig, pamumutla, bumabalik pa rin sa dati basta't nakatanggap ng sapat na init (pagmamahal).

I just love how the place in the video greatly resembles a typical familiar scenery. My kuya said that our lola used to have a kalachuchi and that she talks to that tree everyday way back. I'm still unborn when lola used to do that. So I was really confused and ask kuya "why?" he then said that lola gave birth to her youngest son and died after a day. She was mourning so bad that lolo plant her a kalachuchi and as time passes by lola gets healed eventually. That's when I realized why her wallpaper in her phone is the kalachuchi that she used to have. Until now she is very fond of that specially now that my lolo is gone already.

Kalachuchi is metaphorically our happiness. Which is stated in the lyrics na bumabalik kapag tag init. Sabi nga puti at dilaw; those are happy colors. So obviously ang kalachuchi ay mawawala kapag tag lamig na. So kapag ure cold: and ure state of a sudden silence, everything feels so dismal lalo na kapag ang hilig mo mag overthink and manhid ka na sa mga walang magandang nagyayari sa buhay mo. And in the end of the vid bumalik rin naman si ate where she was at the very first moment. Kaya nga paulit2 lang ang mga nangyayari sa buhay naten e. Because when we re happy, of course, sadness follows and vice versa. :>

"KALACHUCHI" Plumeria - Symbolism Symbolism of the Plumeria flower is usually positive and joyful. Many cultures accepted this flower sort and included it into their folk stories and ancient myths. Masyadong naba akong late para mahanap tong kanta nato? Sarap maging Pilipino kapag ganitong kanta papakinggan mo ipagdadamot ko talaga to!☺️❤️

Naalala ko nung elementary ako, inaakyat ko yung puno ng kalachuchi para pitasin yung mga bulaklak nito at gawing korona para sa Alleluiah ng easter sunday. Naalala ko nung high school ako, gustong-gusto ko noon magbasa ng poetry kasi sumasali rin ako sa pagsulat ng lathalain sa presscon. Nagtataka ako dati kung bakit wala masyadong bandang nagsusulat ng mga poetic na OPM. Naalala ko nung undergrad ako, lagi akong kumakain sa Area 2 dahil malapit lang yun sa dorm ko. Tapos ngayon, nakita ko na yung lugar na to sa lyric video. Naalala ko nung 2015, yun siguro yung pinakamalungkot na taon ko kasi wala akong pera, ayaw ako ng babaeng gusto ko, at ang hirap ng law school. Di pa gaano kasaya yung buhay ko ngayon. Pero di na rin ganoon kalungkot. Pasasaan pa't magiging okay rin ang lahat. Kakain ulit ako sa Area 2 parang nung undergrad ako. Magsusulat ulit ako ng lathalain parang nung high school ako. Aakyatin ko ulit yung puno ng kalachuchi parang nung elementary ako. Babalik din yung dating sigla ko. Parang yung pagbalik nung dalaga kung saan siya nagsimulang sumayaw. Parang yung pamumulaklak ng kalachuchi tuwing Mayo. Salamat sa kantang to.

I've been welcoming May through this song since April 2019. Kalachuchi has become my favorite flower despite the 'pamahiins' in some culture here in the Philippines.

This place looks so "homey" if that makes sense. I am a Fil-am but the place in this video looks so nice and comforting. Never seen a place like it

Kalachuchi dahil sa init, puti at dilaw bumabalik ang dugo which in my point of view "From sorrows and pain, happiness will always come back to our lives" Symbolizes "New life". Good job to this band "Munimuni". When I first heard this song I got "goosebumps". Now, I always play this song every morning when I woke up. :)
