Hell yeah! MUNICIPAL WASTE fait son grand retour au Hellfest ! Et c’est une nouvelle fois sur les planches d’une Main Stage que les pensionnaires de Richmond (capitale de l’État de Virginie, aux États-Unis, pour ceux qui ont séché les cours de géographie au collège) viennent suer à grosses gouttes avec un sourire de trois kilomètres de long, tout en dispensant un thrash metal aux accents hardcore ! Du crossover qui déboîte, quoi !
Hell yeah! MUNICIPAL WASTE are making their grand return to Hellfest. Once more on the Main Stage these Richmond, Virginia natives are coming to sweat their way across the stage and force you to smile as you dive into the pit. Their hardcore tinged brand of thrash metal brings the crossover party for all of us who want to pound beers and crush posers.

They said on stage getting there was a nightmare they where hungover and , had almost missed a flight and another had been cancelled . Despite they just about made it and played a good set

La wave of death... J'ai adoré la panique dans les yeux de la sécurité qui défiait la foule pour savoir combien de centaines de personnes ils allaient devoir porter devant la scène. Ca c'est super bien passé, jamais vu autant de personnes se faire slammer à la minute. Bravo à la team de balaises qui assurent la sécurité et bravo aux festivaliers qui permettent à ce aue ce genre de souvenir reste de très très bon souvenirs. 🤟

Being a fan of Municipal Waste now for about 12 years, saw them live about 8 yeas ago, watched a bunch on youtube. It wasnt until today, in the middle of headbanger face rip that i realized Ryan's left handed. Proof of fuckin aliens man.
This band is bad ass! Saw them live and the pit was raging!!
We played at the same festival in spain, Resurrection fest, Cool guys! They did their show on the same stage just before us..Lucky bastards, we missed half the Iron Maiden show because of it.

They had problems arriving at Hellfest, so there was no sound test and Tony couldn't warm up properly.

FOOTNOTE- As a dude that STILL has probs w/various things, ESPECIALLY booze @ 50 :•{ I can tell you EXACTLY how they were feelin (like absolute SHIT). Subsequently, I'm 100% sure that's the very last thing I'd want to be doing (Running around screaming when it's 47⁰C outside...OMG). If Tony or any that were hangin bad that day read this, F-N-A, i bow to your will to perform!!!

Last time I saw them in a small venue, I kid you not, no exaggeration, around 150 people definitely went crowd surfing during their 30 minute set! Shit was absolutely batshit!

Saw them in London in this January after seeing them at Hellfest last summer and London was more fun . Their energy just suits sweaty nasty clubs .
