I love what Katie once said in an interview about MUNA being a band to listen to if you are very emotional or have a lot of feelings. I love that she's like that. I can relate.

Four years later and that music still brings me a lot of nostalgia.

The production on her vocals during the choruses just melts my heart.

Going into the Muna rabbit hole

This is the song that got me hooked on MUNA. I had just experienced heartbreak for the first time (which would later catapult me into a depression that I’m still trying to crawl out of) and this song perfectly described my sentiment. Knowing it would never work out with this person, but that I’d willingly be oblivious to that if it meant holding on to whatever it was they sparked inside of me. Anyway, it’s so cool how Saves the World perfectly describes the aftermath of such emotional turmoil. It’s like the girls have been there from About U up until now to kind of drag me through this otherwise dark time and teach me a thing or two about myself along the way. It’s very special and I just had to revisit the song where it all began and one that will stay with me a lifetime.

This song actually has a really deep meaning to it that just kind of makes so much sense when you read the lyrics. I love the remix but the original is just as powerful. Honestly this is probably one of my most favorite song ever

This is definitely an enchanting song. It brings me to places like heartbreak, regrets, what if's, what could've been, what we could be. However, if my two cents matter, this video does not speak the magic of the song--at all! I'm disappointed about that but this song is still super! Want to hear more from you gals!
