This song is so powerfully vulnerable "Even if you said you would forgive me I don't know if I could ever say I'm sorry [...] And even if you said you know that I'm sorry I don't know if I could ever forgive me" Like, who says that? 😅 Katie Gavin does. I love her and her art.

I am glad their current work allows their voices and instruments to shine (toning down the electronic manipulation of voice and instruments).

Stop calling this '80's. And this from someone who grew up during and loved the 80's. MUNA is just doing like all those brilliant before them, who have have extrapolated prior melodic and rhythmic sensibilities to create new music. Go see them live. You will love them and leave wanting to hear more. Talented women!

Human League. Thompson Twins. Paula Cole. Butterfly Boucher. Gemma Hayes. Bananarama. Shakespeare's Sister. They've got a whole lot of influences going on there. (Disclaimer: Avid supporter of all manner of music going back to the 60s...and it's astounding just how many times I've played their albums since I first came across them. I'm sure my neighbours are tired of the song selection. LOL)
