I spent 2.5 years dating a guy who I knew was cheating on me and then gaslighting me and manipulating me, and the entire time I just kept trying to convince myself that it would get better It's so hard to get past it, but it's a wonderful feeling when you can look back and know you'll never let yourself be treated like that again

I find it quite funny that it means penis in finnish because in Greek it's a slang term for pussy. In a way I think Muna have achieved being gender-neutral just like they wanted to do with the lyrics of their songs in their own name as well, without even knowing it :D

Muna also means Hope in Arabic. When they were choosing a name for the band, one of the members in a spontaneous way said MUNA and the name stayed with them 👌
