She’s walking perfectly. Don’t make her feel like a burden or dependent or becoming a handicapped. If she has a back problem don’t make her to walk long do it in short distances. You both taking care of your mother.

I am having same issue so I can understand better and both the son's are doing right. She is lucky to have such heart son's taking care of her. She need to understand it's for her good only and nothing to shy. In fact I enjoy riding a scooter it's so convenient specially if you love traveling. Nothing wrong in using it.

She looks very unhappy. Sometimes elderly people prefer their dignity over travel. Don't force her to travel for your needs. Psychology of ageing is hard to understand. Please don't make her do this under pressure.

TD there us age for everything. Your mother is not so young anymore . If she doesn’t want to go out and travel and want to relax at home then let it be . Dont force her to travel and that too on wheelchair. She will start feeling more depressed and she will a get a feeling of burden on you guys . We know you both brothers have baby coming soon but it doesnt mean you will buy your mother wheelchair

She is very uncomfortable to see the wheel chair, don't do this , you guys can motivate mata g to walk or live peacefully at home.

Mummy ji sounds not good,she is not too old, best exercise her fr walk,and light food,faridbad mai rehkar mataji jyada khush v healthy rehti hai,aajkal ke bacchey jyada caring ke chakkar mai parents ko budha bana dete hai

It's good they are making her mobile...she is unhappy but in long term she will be happy n will enjoy her outings otherwise she will be home bound. Very Good n practical thing....Aunty ji cheer up,it's wonderful n you will enjoy your trips n we will love to see you on trips

mummyji looks unhappy usually sr. citizen dont like such things when still they can manage. They use it only when totally not able to walk or stand. I suggest dont compel her. My mother is 80 still she likes to walk (already both knees replaced).

Let them buy for the comfort of Mother. If she does not use it , no worry. At least she had a comfortable tool to use. Elders r like a child. Sometimes, u have to push them for their comfort. She has accepted it, at least for airports. They will carry the scooter along everywhere, where it will be needed, she will use it otherwise it will be lying ready in the vehicle for use. Besides elderness, male and female thinking is different for a new experiment. She will mentally accept it a few times use.

No matter what others say, You guys have taken a right decision in getting a "gaadi" for your mother . It's my personal experience that even my mother was initially reluctant but the upside is that she would be comfortable and by the side of the family. When most parents shy away and stay at home and makes them cranky . It's my humble request to Deepaji aap is se apne ko dukhi mat karo. Aap jaha bhi jayenge waha aapko itni suvidha rahegi. Infact, in Usa my mothers wheel chair was a blessing in disguise. You know what i mean

Phases of life goes jn circle ⭕️.., when a kid is born their journey starts from a stroller and when we are old our journey goes back to stroller // wheel chair 🪑..,, but this is Normal for old age people here in Northern America rather all foreign countries

Both brothers are really excited for the baby shower & such activities together like childhood days. Mummy is observing & remembering the schooling times.

It's not counted in baggage right as we can carry free of charge and they do not count it in luggage. No airline can refuse.
