Unexpected cover of a great song from one of my favorite bands of all time. And in top of all, a killer 6 string electric banjo solo. What a day !
One of the best modern rock songs ever writyen & composed. Trent brought it the deep meaning it needs through his life experiences. Johnny Cash ditto, different experiences, different regrets, different pains of guilt and of course the loneliness caused by the death of his beloved June. Mumford & Sons hit it out of the ballpark, but for me it lacks the emotional depth Cash & Trent gave it. First time I heard Johnny Cash's version I cried, face in my hand cried.
One of the best songs, and one of the best covers.
Wow. 💚 I do believe that these fine Gents have stolen the very breath right out of me, again. & again.. There is never a time that I can recall where I haven't instantly started to feel better, with every experience along the way with Mumford and Sons. Whether I'm first ever hearing something new or watching a show I've watched a thousand times over, they get me with each go. I've been mesmerized by their talents and emotions always, the way these fellas fit together as this band and family is brilliant and beautiful. They create such magical sound!!! I adore. Wonderfully done. ❤️ Birmingham
Marcus voice in this cover and his cover of “ fire “ really just hits your emotional spot
Phenomenal version! Mumford always killing it.
closing 2020 Mumford & Sons brings the beautiful version of Hurt✨ !! bravo 👏
Just by watching them perform with excitement makes me happy. My heart is full. All love x
This is such a transcendent song...great rendition!
Great version! You can feel this tune right down to your bones
Incredible...just incredible, that banjo solo by winston ...epic
It sounds so much deeper! Impossible not listening it so many times!
I love this more and more every time I feel it.
I was diagnosed with PTSD recently and can relate to this song. We often feel nothing at all and some people actually us pain to pull themselves out, doesn't work for me unfortunately but for some it does.
To be able to knock that fucking solo out with such passion on a banjo, of all things....oh Win 😥 I miss this so much. Have had memories with you guys that can never be surpassed..but...I still want more. Come back.
This is the ONLY song I want played when I pass. It gives me so much peace that when I leave, I will meet all I’ve loved, and who have loved me. MY PEACE, LOVE, AND, HAPPINESS to all here and those who I know I will be reunited with. Bless MUSIC!
Just found this band there awesome 😊❤️The lead singer has a great voice !!
This is an absolute masterpiece. The way it builds and draws you in..... then smashes you in the face with the solo 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
The Magic of these Life is hear songs, that change in others... other pieces soo wonderful like these cover
I got lucky and seen them live in the old format... One of the best concerts I've attended
It's always that last lyric that brings water to my eyes. "I would keep myself. I would find a way."
Great song, even better with Mumford and Sons!
For the people of 2088 still listening, Trent Reznor wrote a beautiful and powerful song. This song will live on forever thru the voices of other legends
My oldest kid introduced me to Mumford and Sons. From the first word out of his mouth, I knew that he would kill it with this Johnny Cash ballad. I needed this song right now.

I was wondering if he really had gone to the dark side enough to sing this song, but he's growing on me. The music is just perfect. Love the live aspect. Live music is the only music. Rick Rubin gave us a real gift with this arrangement.
Holy hell this is an amazing version absolutely nailed it fantastic gentleman well done

The banjo 😱🔥🔥
This was arguably the coolest concert moment I’ve ever seen live. It was truly unexpected, it’s one of my all time favorite songs, and I’ve never seen anyone shred on a banjo like that. I saw it in Raleigh about the same time on my birthday, 3/19, in 2019. I still get the chills watching it
New Sound of a Banjo. Very nice.
One of the best bands that live today. I’ve been a fan of you guys for a while now and this performance really blew me away.
I love how making any video black and white makes it feel depressing but still awesome.
All the greats cover this song. It's an anthem of truth
This is what separated this man from many of the rest. He puts his Soul and Spirit into this song and tells us a true story of our lives if we let money and stuff rule our lives.
Love it💖💖💖
I remember when they performed this in Atlanta. Just a over a year ago.. wow feels like a lifetime ago. I miss concerts so much. They were all I looked forward to. Festivals as well. They’ll never be the same again. Makes me just want to cry..

My brothers last show was GOTR 2015. Gorge 2019 played this song and I had my son with me named after my brother. I swear this song was meant for me. How ironic the last time I see my brother was at Mumford & Sons. Then the next time I see them, he’s no longer here. I have my son with me and they play HURT?!? 😭😭😭 This day 5 years ago was his last.
Brilliant

Não conhecia quase nada desta banda só uma ou outra música q passa nas rádios, hoje ouvi mais musicas deles e estou muito satisfeito porque eles são geniais...geram felicidade interior. Parabéns e obrigado 🌞🙏🏾👏🇵🇹 You are awesome
❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥This was an amazing rendition of "Hurt". This means alot to me. This song, "Hurt" is very personal to me because I can relate alot to the lyrics. Back in 1994 , I was a junkie /crackhead and spiraling downward more and more in addiction. The price of my addiction led me to lose custody of my 2 young kids, my son and my daughter, some stints in county jail, homelessness, detoxes, rehabs, whatever else drama and chaos happened . In 1998 , I had to relinquish my parental rights with my daughter. My mother couldn't take care of both of my kids financially and emotionally. It was the most difficult thing ,I had to do in my life but, I loved my daughter very much and I wanted her to have a life that I know in reality couldn't give her. But, after that, I felt like a failure, ashamed , guilty, "HURT". So,that gave me the excuse to keep doing what I was doin'. I pretty much gave up ; I didn't care anymore, escpecially what would happen to me. Also, I just want to say, THANK GOD FOR MY MOTHER because she used alot of "TOUGH LOVE " on me many , many times through my addiction. I truly believe, by her doing that, saved me and my life! God was watching over me too. Back in 2004, I saw on MTV , Johnny's rendition of, "HURT".Even though I was in a haze and a daze, it made such a huge impact on me, that I FINALLY decided to get myself clean and sober, FOR ME,NOT ANYBODY ELSE! ME! It was the 2nd hardest thing I had to do in my life. Getting clean and sober sucks at 1st, for a couple of years even. But, with alot of support and actually doing what I NEEDED TO DO,sticking with it at all costs......HERE I AM! I have been in recovery from crack and heroin since 2004;alcohol since 2011. I feel truly grateful and blessed. I should've been dead yeeeeeeeeeeeears ago! Life isn't perfect but it sure beats the hell of me being 6 feet under! When I still hear this song, I break down and cry. It's very cleansing for me and reminds me just how far I've overcame. Now,my mission is to help those strugglin' with addiction/ alcoholism and/or mental illness . With all, that being said, this was an awesome performance. ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
