Madras café is totally hyped and expensive. A sort of fusion between Udupi and typical Kumbakonam/ Tanjore type of snacks. Thakkar Bhojanalay…yes one great gujju khatiawaadi thaali place..Mumbai can boast about. Otherwise Mumbai takes a beating these days when it comes to authentic decent reasonable South Indian food.

I am Delhi born and bought and worked and now in Coimbatore,so I do connect to your feelings of missing out on vibrancy of Mumbai ,food ,people,beaches,parents,nostalgia of areas u grew up in…… now after 4 years( including 2 years of corona) I have fallen in love with this city, it’s people, slow paced life, culture, nature, weather,water, basically in love with Tier 2 city and thankful to god who gave me this opportunity to reset my life for better

Hey Shweta, looks like you went to the Carter Road Promenade, which is different from the Bandstand Promenade (your caption says Bandstand Carter Road Promenade) Candies is a great place to hang out and the food is amazing. Their Chicken Sandwich and mini meals are yummy 😋 Santacruz market is indeed a great place to pick up some fancy jewellery perfect for weddings.👍

Thacker Bhojnalaya entertain vloggers but if we go they don't serve other rotis only wholewheat ones, don't srve farsan, don't give proper service

Thacker bhojnalaya is over hyped, my experience with this place is disappointing every time because may be we go with lot of expectations after what we hear
