Peter- I met my husband while I was traveling in India. I grew up in Maine, and he moved from Delhi to the US when we got married. We have been married for 4 years, and since then I have been to India nine times (for extended periods). Watching your journey through India makes me laugh and smile. I can relate to EVERY shot and comment. Watching your physical and mental journey through that place is so reliable and so realistic. It is the most chaotic place, bursting with life, and everything is an assault on the senses. I, too, have experienced the same processing and love for this amazing place. Now, what once felt so foreign, is a place of family, comfort, love, and a second sense of home. So glad you learned to ride the wave that is India! Happy travels :)

Theres good and exciting things about India but plenty of not so good things too. The kind of things tourists dont know, Like the caste system, exploitation and abuses of the poor by higher castes and the rich, treatment of women and lack of safety for women, corrupt politics and police, poor quality foods, drinking water and getting sick, scammers are everywhere, not just street people but businesses too. Lack of sanitation and sewerage systems, and general lack of cleanliness.

This helps us the viewers to connect with that country. Even though laundry part was interesting but my heart hurts for the person who was earning one rupy for ironing each piece.. Godddd why the poor hardworking has to suffer everywhere. I wish the people who are paying him one rupay has to iron their own clothes during this quarantine to understand his labor and pay him better next time

It was the people and that street life away from the tourists. So many great memories. I’m back in the States and find it sad that few people have any interest in my stories or learning about these far away places. For example, they love Mexico, because they like the beach and weather. That’s not Mexico. I think you would know what I mean. Anyways, keep up the great work.

I enjoyed this video. The sights and the sounds of Mumbai come alive. The essential character of the place, it's 'madness' is unchanged from I was there in 1983. The city, like India, has twice the number of people it did back then which is just crazy as it seemed to be so unbearably teaming with humanity even at that stage...

I have to say that you are very polite without falling for the tourist “money traps.” My 1st trip to India was for business & I can say that it was extremely overwhelming, because it’s noisy, crowded, and must be honest: very filthy. I’m from Finland where clean & organization is valued & expected, so India was quite a shock to me. The people are at the extremes … either very nice or trying every way to take your money. 👍🏻 Nice video.

India is overall very diverse from inside The crowd, chaos which you see is just a tiny part of that with the rest of the parts being completely difference For example you can experience a silent forest trek in Himalayan mountains with old buddhist monasteries if you go to Northeast india, you can see a version of Tibet in Ladakh, you can see a natural retreat in the mountain valley in Himachal Pradesh You can experience a typical seaside beach in Goa, you can experience the beauty of tropical backwaters in Kerala and a old European town vibe in the city of Kochi You can be amazed to see the flora and fauna of Ooty a hill station in South India + mountain railway ride in Darjeeling, Himachal Pradesh Moreover you can even experience snowfall in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh Better watch the travel vlogs of India made by american, british youtubers like Ride with Gabi, Those happy days, Dannys Gotta world loose!!!! There is a lot of propaganda in youtube these days against China, India

Well yeah that's true...My mom is a Mumbaikar for her it is normal...while for me it is hell lot of chaotic... I did realise one thing that the Mumbaikars really immerse themselves so much in their work..the city and its life that for them it's just daily routine.. Dealing with crowds, running to catch the local-trains (which is often termed as the lifeline of Mumbai) and just doing the work... They do have a sense of calmness beneath this chaos.. My mum finds it odd when she visits my city which is Pune..It's a lazy city😂 compared to Mumbai

Wow! This was amazing vlog!! It wasn't like those cliché ones which only dealt only with the tourist kind of stuff.. Instead you went to ground zero to witness the real vibe of the city...that's what I liked the most! Also I have stayed in Mumbai for many years but never the areas like Dhobi Ghat or Walkeshwar temple (from your another vlog) from inside...thanks for making us explore that! The SPONTANEITY and RAWNESS of these vlogs is the best thing so please don't destroy that!! Love from Pune 😇 Also I hope you are doing well in the ongoing crisis... Somewhere this vlog also made me wonder of how people living in those areas must be practicing social distancing and other stuff which we take for granted... Let's hope for the best!
