Delay is all because of Udhav led Maha Brasht Sarkar, such projects require utmost care and stringent planning and actions and safety Protocols. Hats off to all the Engineers and technicians involved in this project.

Line 2a and 7 were fully opened by Shinde and Fadnavis Sarkar. The entire metro blueprint was fast tracked in Devendra’s Fadnavis tenure of 2014-19

He removed her and then delayed work on all metro lines when other states were taking advantage of COVID lockdown to complete their metro lines.

Bhide is amazing and talented officer

Metro 3 project was announced in Jan 2004. My son was born a few months earlier. Today he is 20 and just completed his graduation. The metro is still under construction. No rush. Take your time.

Bhide never compromised her hard work to achieved desired results with visionary to reduce traffic to enhance the travel with ease Ms bhide what we need to undertake is Bandra -BKC-Passport office-Kurla-LTT Metro / monorail can be worked out 2- With high priority Virar- Vasai -Bhyander -Borivalli Road network on sea near Rail bridge Which will be greatly support to Citizens of extended mumbai

Also requesting mmrda to extend metro project upto Dhanu road on western railways and on central railway upto kasara and karjat khopoli panvel so that pressure on railway can shift from railway to metro which will help all

Not a Mumbaikar or have ever been to Mumbai, but I hope Mumbai gets more metro lines and better sub-urban network. I have seen how Mumbaikar travels everyday and it is almost inhuman. I think more Mumbaikar looses their life while riding on sub-urban trains than any other MRT in the world. I hope when sub-urban trains are upgraded it is a fully AC trains with door closing when it leaves station, this feature alone will save 6 lives everyday!

Don't compare Pune with Mumbai 😂

Transit oriented redevelopment zone within 500m from border of metro or monorail station or clause 33(23) is to be added to dcpr2034, metro monorail is for real estate business. A plot area above 20000m2 , adjacent to 27m wide road and within 500m from boundary of each station on metroline 3 will get an FSI of 9.45 inclusive of fungible as per notice dated 29/2/2024 from urban development department.

Mumbai being as Economy capital of India, should have pace of infra development same as Delhi and NCR, they had started metro since common weath 2008-2010, even whole country need pace in development 360° to boost the economy and jobs. Delay should not impact the work as it also increase the cost of project and tenure of the same, that additional amount we can utilize to develop any other projects. So good planning and Analysis is required as well..

Need to ask the reason for frequent changes in commissioning date? Is it poor planning? Or keeping the public out of reality of project getting delayed! Bulk work was completed a year ago, still why so delayed?

Are these construction leak proof and of good standards ir just as usual

No concrete answer to when is the project opening nor has any proper reasons for the delay. I remember she had announced the phase-1 would be opened by Feb 2024 and its 3 months beyond the last deadline. Pretty sure the project is not going to open this up for public this year.

Make something to decongest "Western Express Highway".....traffic is pathetic most of the time.

She has been disappointing post her re-appointment. Simply deferring the projects, splitting one line into 2 or 3 phases and failing to start even the first one. Of-course when the program manager spends time on "Nari Shakti" programs instead of doing the actual work these delays will happen

That's a lot of cut money flowing right in 😅😅😅

Ashwini madam now stop taking credit all the time. We know that your entire team had to struggle on this project.But the point is when the metro 3 is opening why no deadline set? Looks very messy

Bloody people questions who is working on it and don't question why previous governments had not taken this up in so many years. This has to be done 15 yrs back who was sleeping till now and raise questions who is working on it. Strange

Do some reasearch buddy before talking anything. Many cases were filed against metro corporation. Search more about arrey colony depot. Why it got delayed. Many people came on road to oppose this even many actors came onto oppose this project . So search about this thing and you will understand the other side of story. And what a heck of stress been for this mmrda people. Also if you have time then watch same Ashwini bhides talk in Nseit Mumbai event. Where she talked thorough on this project in Hindi and the difficulties. And if you go through this all only then you will know that it is not a gov fault it's a people but again people who opposes they have also some valid points. Again if you reasearch it you will understand.

@@V.Khanna first of all where did I say Uddhav thakrey gov??. He came in power for only 2 years that too in 2020-2021. But this project is going on from 2008 Congress gov came in power then bjp. But im not talking about gov. The points I mentioned in my earlier comment if you go through that you will get knowledge on why this things happened.
