The icey blue one really feels like something Elsa would wear!
The dress she chose definitely gives Elsa/Ice Queen vibes and adding the names of her lost loved ones was such a thoughtful and meaningful addition to her dress. 💗

Yes, perfect wedding ensemble. The scarf with her family names embroidered was devine.
Adding the names was the perfect final touch and a detail that shows how thoughtful they really are.
I love her fiancé. I think he'd say it was "perfection" if she walked out wearing a burlap bag.
How thoughtful of the consultant, he did so much more than was expected of him. Marvellous. 💜
The last lehenga was spectacular and the personalized dupatta was just the cherry on top. I think they should mention the price as well so that we get an idea of how much the future brides have to spend to get that look🌻

First, I love this consultant, he's like the Indian version of Randy, even down to being super slim! He is always committed to listening to what the bride wants. Second, when Anushka comes out with the ice blue outfit, 6:18, her entourage's reaction was the literal embodiment of "Hear no evil, see no evil, say no evil!" So funny!

I am in tears... This dress was STUNNING! she looked beautiful in all of them but the third one was just ... Mwah! Chefs kiss! I love the consultant hes so sweet, kind, loving and he listens to the brides and keeps them first and foremost... As for this girl having lost a few loved ones, I can only imagine her pain, but her joy when she saw them included in her dress... The mom the family they are all wonderful!! Indian wedding dresses are something else! They're so god damn beautiful
I love Indian clothes. I would love the second skirt and top for myself. She looked stunning in the second one (mine) but the one she chose was magical. What a lovely sentiment to embroider her lost loved ones onto, I'll call it the shawl b/c I don't know the Hindi word for it.

These are lehenga. They were worn by queens of medieval India now worn by brides during wedding.
This was staged because blue dupatta with names printed was already kept ready. But I am happy for the bride and the family.

Clearly, it was an emotive hook to make a sale more likely. I imagine, even if she had not bought any dress, she would have wanted to buy such a sentimental piece of clothing. If not her, I am sure the mother would have bought it. It is very interesting to compare the Indian brides of America, with the Indian brides in India. They say that migrants clutch all the customs, all the rules, much closer, away from their homeland. It appears to be very true. The Indo-American families seem much more obsessed with the classic red colours. Much more obsessed with modesty. Back in India, they seem to be adventurous, happy to give custom a severe shaking - colour, cut, much more sexy... It really is fascinating to see the far more rigid colour/modesty/customs stuck to, in America, whilst in India, people barely bother to acknowledge their old customs.

Nope, they did it before, these brides have talked about their story and their outfit preferences before they have come for the consultation, based on their stories each bride for SYTTD are selected, the outfits were curated specifically according to the bride's input, they probably had the dupatta specifically embroidered before the bride came in as a surprise gift and to really sell the outfit. The consultations aren't staged, it just isn't the first time that the bride is communicating with the stylist's team, the team has prepared beforehand according to the given input.

For people thinking if this is staged. Breathtakingly beautiful 🙏what a gorgeous dress 🙏I simply love these episodes . What a wonderful sentiment for the bride to have her father beside her, embroidered into her gown. May their marriage be long and full of blessings 🙏
can't get anymore "personal" than what they did for her in honoring those that won't be able to attend. wow!!! always in spirit "they" walk with "us...." i also like this culture goes with color in dresses. very nice all the way around!!
The scarf with all her passed loved one`s names was an excellent touch.
I have watched SYTTD for as long as it has been on the air and this episode has to be one of my favourites. What a beautiful bride, loving fiancé and family, and caring and professional consultant.♥️
Can we appreciate the fact that the tulle/chiffon material for the top was tan coloured? So it actually looked invisible on the bride and she was just wearing a barely there-crystal-arial-like bra?? And yet it was still modest enough? Stunning! Mashallah tabarakallah ❤️
why did it make me so emotional when I saw the names embroidered. her and her mother are so strong and i really am saddened that they've been through so much. no wonder the mother and daughter were so close.
The last dress was ethereal. Love those frosty blues. But the sweet embroidery was the best part. 😢
For those of you saying this was fake because of the embroidered names: the mother has stated in the comments that it was not set up or fixed in advance, and, in fairness if you knew how quickly Indian tailors and seamstresses can whip up a decent suit, embroidering a few names is nothing.
Tell me why am I crying? She looks absolutely gorgeous ✨😭

Another idea one consultant had was to put pictures of this girl's dad in a locket and it could be sound to the inside of her dress by the bridal shop itself no extra charge she just had a supply and lock it in the picture of course which was a very sweet sentiment.
