Yes, I have one...she is 98 , I have cut contact--but I now that she is still criticizing me.... I'm 68 years old.

If I were the bride's entourage, I would say _"No wonder you have such low esteem. Your mom never stops criticizing you."_ right in front of the mom and the camera.

I think the mom is jealous of her own daughter. She looked beautiful in everything she tried on. I hate Mom's that think it's all about her. Guess what mom it's not your wedding. This may be why you have never been married.

The mother said "It's not quite what I'm looking for." at the second dress. GUESS WHAT, MOTHER, it 👏🏻is 👏🏻not 👏🏻your 👏🏻wedding! And even the "Well, I never got married, I never got to experience this, so this is the most important to me" like DUUUUDEE, stooop! 😢 It's just not about the mother, she should not have spoken to or about her child like that - ever.

I was just aghast at the Mother! How could you say such negative things to your beautiful daughter??! There’s a way to say I’m not a fan of the dress without putting down your daughter! Very sad.

I can understand how the mom wanted everything to be perfect for her daughter especially since the mom didn't get a wedding dress experience but the harsh words are unforgivable. The mothers words/actions will catch up to her one day. I had a mom that was similar and I eventually cut all communications with her. No one needs such a toxic person in their life.

I get that the bride wants her mother’s approval, but she didn’t seem to have a mind of her own. Mother’s that say things like; it’s not what I’m looking for, or I wore a princess dress when I got married and I loved it. Forcing their daughter into one. This isn’t about you!! Body shaming your daughter- really?! She looked gorgeous in all of the dresses!!💕

This young bride is beautiful, and would look great in whatever she put on. I actually thought the second dress was more flattering, but I suppose it's best for all to come together. I wish her nothing but happiness.

She looked great in all 3 dresses. For me, dress #2 was the winner. Its a shame that she was not strong enough to make her own decision regardless of moms opinion.

But honestly the bride looked fake too with all of her lip plumbing she’s had done. I will never get why young gala do such a thing.

The bride-to-be has a perfect body. I preferred her in a dress no. 2. But she should just listen to herself, not to her mother or friend.

Too bad he didn't trick the MOM on the second dress (with the beaded bodice) instead of the last one. The last one was fine, but not near as flattering. Glad he figured out the Mom's brutal comments came from her past and not her daughters actual look in the dresses.

You are right! Any of the 3 presented the way he did the last one and I bet mom would have liked any of them. I too liked the second one! It was more unique and the sides were stunning as she had a great figure.

To me, this was sad. That mother was shameful, how she purposely humiliated her beautiful glowing daughter. The first 2 dresses were perfect... better than the last one. I think the bride took the last one just because the horrible mother switched gears. The mom had so many physical flaws, and here she was projecting on her lovely daughter .. 😢

I was inlove with the second dress. The mum is so jealous of her daughter, it’s disgusting. My mother would never act this way.

Didn't like the bust line on the 3rd dress. The 2nd one was perfect.

Tan should have kicked the mother out of the appointment.

Found it was so surprising that the focus was on whether the mother liked it and the bride did not even got to share her opinion until the mother said she had not married and realised it really was her wedding in the mothers mind . So wrong.

I love that Tan addressed the mom's need to see her walk down the aisle and balanced it with caring for the bride.

I just felt sorry for Ellie that her mum is so negative toward her. The 1st dress was nice, the 2nd dress is stunning on her body. I just don't understand why her mum does not really appreciate her daughter's beauty. I am glad that at the end, Ellie found her dream dress and be happy.

Her whole life getting criticized by mum. She is damaged by it. Look at her body language. She walks all bent over. And she is So beautiful. Stand up to her!

These are my neighbours. They cut out ELLIE starting the conversation about her shoulders! Mum is not one bit jealous of her daughter. She's just a bit gobby. She's like this all the time and tbh her daughter gives it back. They've edited this to make it seem something it's not. Ellie is adored and spoiled by her Mum. Hazel's SO proud of her daughter and loves her so, so much.
