it's not surprising considering it's a free to play fighting game, they can keep adding fighters as long as it is being played. I would know bc I play Brawlhalla and we are still getting more fighters and crossovers in the game.

Not the same thing 😂 crossovers are skins you pay for, and all brawl characters have the same copy paste weapon kits.

@@TheShaderGamerI got rid of the game because me and my friends were sick of not being able to play together on different tv I feel like we need trios squads 1v1v1v1 and that way we could have more people playing and adding there friends and if they keep adding more people it would be even better

So apparently Lincoln, Leonardo, Michelangelo, Hugh Neutron, Helga, Oblina, and powdered toast man were gonna be in the NASB 2 roster( so sandy, toph, shredder, and catdog would've been the only cut characters) but since Nick kept rushing the devs, they were cut.

First but, the thing that I like about MVS isn’t that they focus on the Quantity of the Characters but more on the Quality of those characters, the thing is that unlike Games like Fortnite where there is barely anything new to program with some New Characters since they are just Skins, MVS has to do a ton, I def think we can get like 50+ Characters in 5 Years time.

For me I just want the movesets to actually be balanced and not have them rush out characters like they were doing before and actually take their time with releasing them

It can also mean that any character we want could potentially be more of when they can get in not if. This game definitely has the potential to have a limitless roster.

MVS will thrive with new characters as long as the game is on going. WB wants it around infinitely/decades. So excited to get back into MVS! We’re waited so long

Hopefully we hear something very very soon and I will definitely be down for this no doubt

As someone interested in Multiversus just for the IPs and Roster, I look forward to what they add to the game.

Imo I can see the roaster being as big as overwatch 2 roaster in terms of characters. There’s a lot of potential of both new characters and maps and what they could do upon re release. As long as they actually take their time at making the characters and making them balanced and not rush them out. If they do re release in time they could cash in on the GxK hype and do a Godzilla or Kong release since Toho is apparently open to doing crossovers rather than giving Godzilla his own game 😂.

If (or when) MultiVersus does has infinite amount of characters, I'm 98% sure there's going to be some guess fighters.

Awesome vid as always, Shade! Did you see my reply to EatMyVenus's post? Hell frickin' yes MVS has an infinite number of roster slots! It's a live service game, so the roster will never stop expanding for as long as the game is supported! Considering the possible 3rd party characters, the possibilities of characters and maps are basically endless! There's also that possible merger with Warner Bros. and Paramount that could possibly cause every single character from NASB 1 and 2 to go ahead and join MVS as well! In the words of the main man himself, Tony Huynh, "Anyone, anything, is possible."

If anything. Brawlhalla is more like Fortnite than MVS. Its live service, it offers multiple game modes and characters, and a ton of cross over cosmetics, and it’s free-to-play

Great video and I think that they will keep adding character indifenitely for now, but Slackerz has a very good point, there has to be balance in a competitive game. Ig we'll habe to wait and see

When they return, they should space character releases out to a month or more, meanwhile work on balancing and bug fixes.

Multversu comes back they need something big. I missed it for a time yeah but its at the bottom of a list of games i want to play now. Overall i hope the game looks different with new mechanic. I want RWBY Mortal Kombat both popular kind of worth waiting a year for

Characters from Archie comics, Harry Potter, Lord of the rings, monsterverse, and mortal Kombat would be great for the next round

Brawlhalla is a perfect example of how to do a live service fighting game and MultiVersus should take notes

they should have the game for mobile too, so other people can play on that as well

The big issue I have with comparing his game to Fortnite is the fact that these characters aren’t skins. Even monthly character releases seems wild to me. You should be comparing character releases to that of like League of legends or even overwatch 2. Making a character with a unique move set and a proper balance cannot be realistically squeezed out monthly. Bi-monthly seems a little more reasonable to me, since when you look at league of legends release window, it’s around 4-5 champs a year, not even bi-monthly. I see two ways them working around a more reasonably slower character release window. 1) Release maps much more frequently, which seems much more reasonable with how simple the stages are most of the time. The one set back to this would be a drop in quality for this games banger soundtrack. 2) As much as people hate micro transactions, a larger pool of a rotating cosmetics. Make players want to spend money on your free to play game. I rant because multiverses dug itself into a hole by starting off with that bi-weekly character release. A set so many people up for an unreal release window for characters, at least consistently.
