funny, in mk11 the character with the skin wasn't the playable character joker himself, and there was no batman in that game either, LMAO! feels like the skin got in the wrong hands by a long shot before and at least its more "related to the skin itself" now in a way, different of, let's say, "marvin" receiving the skin instead of either joker or batman in this scenario...

They're just acknowledging what the comics are too proud to admit. Tbwl was nothing like Batman in both looks and personality. He was just Joker with more plot armor and fetish wear. People just ate it up cause "ooh edgy Joker-Batman neat"

I missed when this game was actually a crossover game and not just CN vs DC with a few guest appearences

That may be true but I think Kevin Conroy voiced batman in the game before and there were some unadded lines between joker and Batman so if you think about it mark hamil isn't really breaking his promise
