@@tomv5988 I understand that, but his death was nearly a year ago, and he was a long-term hard-core addict to multiple legal and illegal substances; in some sense his death was a long-time coming. To be pursuing all these different people regarding his death just seems like a colossal waste of everything. This case is closed from my perspective.

Given his pre-existing medical issues, they would have a hard time holding anyone responsible for his death. He had chronic pulmonary disease , chronic pancreatitis, chronic kidney disease, hypertension , coronary artery disease , emphysema , diabetes, digestive issues, anxiety, major depression, an opioid addiction, previous alcoholism, had just stopped smoking 2 packs a day and had other prescribed drugs in his system (related to the above) that could have diminished his alertness home alone in a hot tub before the Ketamine kicked in.

Firstly, multiple people can be held criminally responsible for the same thing. Secondly, what evidence do you have that Perry took those drugs voluntarily, that they were not mislabeled, that he was not misled into taking something he didn't mean to? All I heard was that he probably overdosed on something, presumably ketamine. That's all I know. I don't know how it got into his system, and I'm not sure why you think law enforcement would charge anyone else if they didn't have evidence of someone else being involved in criminal activity. I'm not willing to overlook the possibility of foul play any time someone is an addict.

It’s not the fame. It’s people getting into professions that lead to fame for all the wrong reasons. The same reason that they are drug addict is the same reason that they’re becoming an actor or a musician or whatever else it is, that giving them attention that they crave. It’s not because they are an artist who has something to give to the world. Those people don’t need in the same way. What they have comes from the inside. They don’t have to get it from outside of themselves. Dolly Parton, Patty LaBelle, many people with long Illustrious careers who have never touched drugs- And warn others not to.

They are portraying him as Americas boy next store sweetheart because of his image on Friends and the public response to his apparent popularity and untimely death. All of that is not reality. As nice a guy as he may have been he was a drug user. Plain and simple and admittedly so. This doesn’t make him a terrible person especially if he had an addiction but it also doesn’t make him any less responsible for seeking and abusing the drug and making the choices that led to his death. Going after the supplier in this case and putting all the attention on that is just a lame attempt to protect the image of Matthew Perry rather than being honest about who the real person was and using this opportunity to help encourage people to not idolize or lift him up as anything other than a drug user who played pretend for a living and should no way be considered someone you would look up to if they were your friend.

Ketamine is not an illegal drug. There are companies like “Mindbloom” and “Innerwell” that set you up with psychiatrist and a psychologist. If they decide that Ketamine is the best route, the therapy IS MAILED TO YOU HOME. This system has been in place for people who genuinely needed the treatment. The problem occurs when an addict, which Matthew Perry was, starts Ketamine Therapy and it DOESN’T WORK. When this occurs the patient feels the high that they used to feel, or dizzy and memory-less like they used to feel. This is problematic because these people are ADDICTS and Ketamine can kill you. He made the decision to either enter a 2nd program, or purchase ketamine on his own. These are the actions of a person who should’ve been living in a sober house. He was very aware that Ketamine could kill him, and he made the decision to take “just a little extra”. It would be cruel to press charges against any company that gave him Ketamine or any Doctor who prescribed it to him. If he bought it on the street- that is different, get whoever sold it.

TO BE HONEST MATTHEW PERRY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS OWN DEATH. YES HE WAS A BELOVED ACTOR BY MANY BUT IN ALL REALITY AS AN ADDICT IT IS HIS CHOICE TO USE/CONSUME THE PRODUCT FOR WHICH HE HIMSELF PURCHASED. HIS CHOICE TO USE WAS HIS CHOICE AND NO ONE SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR HIS CHOICES.AT SOME POINT WE NEED TO STOP POINTING THE FINGER AND ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CHOICES THAT WE MAKE AS ADULTS!!! SAD THAT HE DIED THIS WAY BECAUSE HE WAS APART OF THE BEST PARTS OF MY CHILDHOOD WATCHING FRIENDS BUT ULTIMATELY HE CHOSE TO BUY THE PRODUCT AND HE CHOSE TO IRRESPONSIBLY JUMP IN THE POOL. NO ONE SAID GET WASTED AND GO SWIMMING AT HOME ALONE. AND SADLY HIS POOR CHOICES LEAD TO HIM DYING AT HOME ALONE!!!

Why thise were his choices? We need to stop looking for blame on others instead of the addict. Its sad we'll miss him but unfortunately he did this to himself

I had no idea Chandler Bing was a drug user. Joey yeah that was a given. Definite pothead that one. Ross fits the mold as a classic cocaine user. It was obvious Rachel was into ecstasy. Monica’s constant emotional roller coaster was indicative of meth use. But Chandler was so clean cut and prim and proper drugs didn’t even enter my mind. Homosexual obviously but not drugs. I’m willing to bet the investigators on this case will be paying Phoebe a little visit. If anyone was supplying to all these drug addicts it was definitely her.
