Multifemale ● What Can I Say About Being a Woman (FULL)

Ойын-сауық

Hello,
So, here it is, the full video. I just want to say that as you may have guessed, this subject is really important to me and I think we need to talk about it. I am really grateful for all the women that stood up for themselves and fought for their rights in the past. We came come so far but we haven’t achieved gender equality yet.
I just want to raise awareness and hopefully more women and men will start standing up for themselves too.
I also think it is really important to know that even though this is called Feminism, it doesn’t mean we have to put men down. Feminism is about gender equality and not who’s gender is better. We are all different and have different capacity, interest and life. We both women and men should feel free to do whatever we want to do in life. We should all love each other and respect each other. We need to start supporting each other. I know a lot of women feel they are in a competition with other women, so girls, we need to stop this. We are all different and we should embrace our differences and start feeling happy for each other. Women need to stop feeling jealous to see other women succeed. We should be happy a woman is succeeding, that means progress and us too we can succeed. We don’t need to tear each other down to do that. Just work hard and we CAN work hard.
And men thank you for joining and helping us have the rights we deserve. This is a battle we need to do together both men and women.
Anyways, I just wanted to make this video because Madonna’s speech is absolutely amazing and I’ve got really inspired by it.
I hope you all have a beautiful day. Thank you for watching and reading this.
Love you all.

My grandmother told me that women are for work, for family and for raising their kids. And yeah I heard about her long beautiful pigtails too and how they were only allowed to wear skirts... she was a traditional wife, with 6 sons to raise and a farm to manage (my grandpa had to move for a bit, due to cancer; twice) She is phenomenal, still spends every penny on family or urgent things. She still helps on the farm, a bit. Takes care of her husband. She lost her twin brother, her son and her grandson. She grew up in a time during the ww2... She is the boss in the house, I want to like her. She may have played by the rules, but man what a strong woman. She is very controvercial and doesnt understand/accept divorce or gay people... My sis is a („closet“)lesbian. But she loves her family. Yeah she can be very offensive, but she will never leave you. And she is a grandmother of 14 kids. Inspiring women.

It’s not like she is fascist and fights against gay people… she just don’t see how they can be a family/married couple… If she sees family, it is the 1950s version. It’s the only thing she accepts. Sexist and shit as hell, but she is almost 90, i don’t want to spend that time with caring grandma fighting. Let it be… My sister love her btw.

I remember as a kid really hating my brothers cause my parents would let them go out at night (after 6) to go to the shop, to go to the park or just to go for a walk . Whereas for me, I had to always go with someone, also never taught how to protect myself but taught to hide - to wear clothes that didn’t reveal my body-so that nothing would ever happen to me. I only realise that it’s common for so many women, I only long for a time where we won’t have to restrain ourselves from going out at night alone , wearing what ever the fuck we want

I know exactly what you mean! Since we are little girls, we are raised to be some way that is acceptable for a “women” (after the standars of society) but it is discriminatory and it makes us feel weak and dependent which we are not!!! We are humans like everyone and we have potential, strength, intelligence. We should keep on standing for ourselves and for what the future could be for future girls. The education of young girls should be as supportive as boys and we should encourage every human beings to be what they are and go to their fullest potential and be the best person that they could be, no matter their gender, race, or background! We are all HUMANS ❤️

Never got out late or during the day for that matter, never hung out with my friends outside. While my brother is chilling outside 24/7. Even wearing hoodies or baggy trousers is unacceptable. Been called a slut in my school, by my dad's family too. Never been in a relationship,I guess the only escape i have now is moving out after I'm done with school. Though we're living in a much better place now.

Unfortunately people are a bit suspicious even scared of strong women, it’s a shame because a strong woman is just a human, we shouldn’t be scared of women knowing their rights and standing up for themselves and what they want, we should encourage and support each other as humans. A strong woman isn’t a cold woman or mean, strength isn’t something to be scared of, it doesn’t take away your kindness or humanity, I hope people start to realise that. However, we should not generalise, not everyone calls women witches, there are some very good people that support our cause, or just think similar to us and respect each other, we have to let them in and not let pain or grudge take over either.

We should carry on the hard work women before us did to achieve equality! We need to support each other and men too! We are all worthy and equal in value! @@JurethProdz I don't think if this is off topic from this video but I wonder how this would relate to the fashion industry and modeling world, because it is a world where women are objectified and sexualized and the models are *used* to sell clothes. But my favorite fashion designer is Gianni Versace and one of my favorite quotes from Gianni is: *"I leave the women the choice what they like. I don't like a label on my fashion. I just work for women and there is different kinds of women. I think fashion is the way you express yourself. And I like to leave to the women the desire to express themself using my fashion. I don't want to use women, I let them use me."* Gianni said this in 1991 so in a sexist time period Gianni was veryyyy ahead of his time. Gianni was known for having this great love for women. I think today Gianni Versace would be known as a feminist fashion designer. Also he was also a great friend of Madonna. todayinmadonnahistory.files.wordpress.com/2016/07/versace-madonna.jpg?w=550&h=544 I think Gianni would be very proud of the speech that Madonna made. :)

Firespawn this is such a beautiful comment ! Thank you for sharing your opinion. Of course the fashion industry is related, it is one of the industries that objectifies women the most, they are treated like objects to sell a product. I did use the video clip of Beyonce “pretty hurts” that really shows that women are only used for their bodies and they have unrealistic expectations. The way the man holds her neck, touches her leg and gives her directions is awful, she is treated like a doll but she is a human being and should be treated like one. I don’t know much about Gianni but after what you tell me, he seems like a good person in the fashion business! Indeed, fashion is a way to express yourself and there is so much diversity! Fashion business needs to improve in so many ways. I do like the way Gianni saw things! We need more like him.

Firespawn wow I loved your story it is really interesting. As if the fashion designer should be bisexual and there should be a love triangle that is up to you. Indeed, you are the writer and you should do what feels right to you, that is what creates character and originality in writing, but I think the story could work both ways. I also agree with your friend think that « perfect » isn’t the right term as it means that we should follow certain rules and expectations that makes us « perfect » . Truth is there is not such a thing as perfect, not when it comes to beauty as beauty is defined differently by each individual ! Each individual has their own view on beauty and that is what it is all about ! Diversity ! It is the same in fashion ! Not everyone likes the same style, not everyone finds the same clothes pretty, that is why there are so many different clothes, to match everyone likings. I think in your story, your fashion designer seeks natural beauty, he as Gianni wants to stop torturing women and start supporting their natural beauty. They don’t have to be anorexic to wear fashionable clothes. Maybe this character can open a door for women in the fashion industry, he could help to break the image that society has on beauty and make women feel comfortable in their own bodies whatever size or colour they are. That could be a way you can use feminism in the fashion industry (in your story), give women freedom to wear whatever they like. He could indeed start hiring healthy models and promoting diversity . At least it is an idea, things would be so much better if fashion business would start embracing every women as they are and stop promoting unhealthy and unrealistic ideas of beauty. As for the title it really depends of how the story goes but as for what I understood in your comment something like “The beauty of diversity” or “Natural Beauty” could be good of course it is an idea you can find something that sounds better but it is just the general idea. It really means a lot that my video inspired you, I am really touched and really exited about your story :)

Because of that I never lost to anyone in my life I would get first place in everything I took part in. I want to be a speaker when I grow up. I want to talk about what I am passionate about. This is the very first topic I am going to talk about when I am older because I already know what it is like to be sexually assaulted and judged by men and women. What really makes me enraged is that people can get away with sexual assault. Nobody gets the Justice they deserve. My big question is how in the name of cheese do people get away with sexual assault. This is the most empowering video I have ever put my eye on. This video inspired me and I hope all of you to not give a rats butt about what other people say because you are amazing nobody should touch you or make you feel uncomfortable just because of the way you look. Also THE GAME. I think a few of us already know what we’re talking about. It terrifies me thinking that there are rules to being yourself. I don’t want to be cute I want to be a machine that men are terrified of me. Altogether I love this video and watched it several times because it is so empowering.

Wow you left me speechless! I really don’t know what to say, your comment is really amazing! But I’ll try to find my words haha! First, I am really flattered that the video inspired you, this are the moments I remember why I love editing and making videos about things that matter to me, thank you for making me smile today ❤️ I am also happy you want to be a speaker, that is an awesome goal 👏 you can do it! However, I am really sad that you had gone through hard things but this things made you stronger and probably that is why you want to make this world better, I am proud of you for that, it takes a lot of strength and courage! Unfortunately, I think some people get away with assault because they have power and money, that is a sad thing about the world right now 😞 I hope that will change! as well as the “rules” you talked about, we shouldn’t be following society’s expectations, we should be doing what makes us happy and be who we are, go after our dreams and goals and just be the unique person that we are! I hope we will achieve that. There is just one thing I wish you to remember, don’t ever let anger and grudge drive you, that is dangerous ! Not all men are bad people, there are some good men out there as there are some terrible women too! We should never generalise. In order to achieve equality we need to be comprehensive and empathetic with each other, we need to try to understand the other and respect them as human beings. We are all different in personalities, abilities, tastes, etc... but we shouldn’t be discriminated, we should embrace our strength and weakness, we should have the rights to be human, even if we are different in some ways, at the end of the day we are still the same HUMAN! And all humans should be free and equal in rights.

I am a female and I do remember when I literally went for an argument with one of my 'female' teacher while we were, like me and my teacher were having debate on whether girls should wear 'shorts' or not and one of her sentence really pissed me off which was that 'God has given girls a "type of body" (body parts) which is intimidating and that they should cover it'. This really made me think that such an incredible teacher she is, but it's a pity that with this mentality, she really has lost all her respect in my eyes. I didn't knew what to say at that time cz, like, through a debate we only make other person realise their mistakes if they are eager to listen and think logically and able to differentiate b/w right and wrong, however, she was not even listening to me, she was just trying to impose her thoughts on me. That's why I just could not backup cz how can I make a comeback when she has already lived up around 38 years of her life with that rubbish thinking than how can I 'now' make her change her thoughts?

Lots of women had already fought for us in the past, that is why we have the rights we have now, it's our turn to do the same and with time, equality will be achieved.

My father says that we woman can’t be in powerful positions, like being president because we are “emotional”. 😤😒😠

  • @JurethProdz

    @JurethProdz

    3 жыл бұрын

That is nonsense ! Men are emotional too, they just can’t be in public because it’s not « masculine », these stereotypes and generalisations need to stop! Every human is different and some people are more emotional than others regardless of their gender ! And that doesn’t mean they can’t be in a position of power! Powerful stereotypes are also terrible ! You don’t need to be mean to be powerful, there is a difference between bosses and leaders, we need more leaders.

After so much courage , I am here to share mine My uncle , probably like 10 years older than me (he was the cousin of my dad ) ,was dumb , I was in 8th STD and he was still repeating 10th , he lived in house for 1 year to study it was a joint family , I used to study late so I used to wake up late in the morning , I used to be sleeping alone in my room . And he with an excuse to wake me up , used to come to my room and keep his hands in my underwear , I was asleep so when I woke up I thought it was a disgusting dream but the next day and the day after that the same thing happened and one day I caught him . And I didn't talk to any of my family members about this thinking I was at fault , I started avoiding him and he had the audacity to ask me ' what did I do ' like wtf you touched me so disgustingly I stayed quiet to protect my integrity but I wanted to slap him so hard that day It's disgusting how men think they have the rights on all women

Its honestly sickening what people have done to women... There have been tests to see if women where some kind of animal. Not even that extremely long ago. Im so glad that there are voices that speak out about woman rights.
