Not justifying the mothers behaviour but, one must consider the fact that both children were separated at a young age due to the divorce. Her sister was by her father who cared little for her and he allowed the mother no contact with her child. Now a mother who had two children separated and was denied contact, a mother who was a wife with a partner is now single, she would pour all herself into the child she has. The story doesn't say at what age the girls were separated but it maybe quite young and even a parent can be strangers to their children just like a child can be stranger to their parent. It not as black and white according to the narrative of the story. The sister does has the bad personality traits of her father whom we have seen in pervious episodes and I doubt had the mother both girls she would haved behaved poorly and said the same despite the fact the mother treated them equally.

Haved you forgotten that he did question himself when he meet the ' sister/cousin ' to offer the contract? Besides he was rushed into the situation because the grandmother pretended to be ill, there were also major changes within the company. He may haved thought she was having a bad day or he was mistaken. They had only a brief encounter and then the FL was the constant.

Also, i believe evil sis promised to pay for mom’s surgery if yanxi goes along with everything evil sis wants. This is reason Yanxi could not say anything

This character is down right stupid and no trusting. No one wants to be made a fool of. She could haved told him of the mistaken identity, that he did indeed met her at the interview but his assistant got the wrong name. Her thrust in him wasn't there. Put yourself in his shoes and see if xou like how it fits, especially after te asked her countless times about her state of mind. Not only that but, she has his employee involved.

The only thing she lied about was her name. She didn't lie about her feelings. All the things between them are real. I think too many people are hung up on a name. Remember he approached her about the fake relationship. She never intended to hurt him. Originally she thought to fulfill the contract as her sis was blackmailing her to and as he asked, be able to pay for her mom's surgery and at the end of the contract leave with everyone getting what they wanted. The only one with evil intentions was the sis. Fear makes you do stupid things and she was stupid to let fear keep her from telling the truth but she is not an evil character that deserves some retribution.

I was hoping she got back that $2.8 million dollar necklace the evil sister got from her.

Treating one nicely and ignoring other one feelings isn’t good things; parent shouldn’t only treat one more, it should be equal.

He jingxi's personalities reason is her parents we cannot blame her for everything .

She deserves it if you love someone and he also luvs u truly you must be open and honest

For the people blaming XIXI for everything that happened none of you have been in the position. The reason why she did not tell him was because she knew that he would be mad and lose him and if that happens the evil sister would blackmail her more and she could also lose her mom. If you guys were in this position you would have done the same. She admitted to her mistakes she knew this may happen but for the sake of her moms well being she did this. Yes, she made mistakes but that is not selfish. If she were selfish she would have taken his money and left but she didn't. The only selfish person in this is the sister. She wanted everything to destroy someone else's happiness to fulfill this.

There is never a good enough reason to lie to someone. especially someone you're in a relationship with. And you clam to love. rarely ever does it turn out well. honesty, trust, and communication aside from love is the key. he gave her every opportunity. to tell what was going on. like he wasn't going to notice the obvious change in her mood and personality. She made it harder on herself.

The last scene makes me cry 😭

Gah! I've been watching the last 3 episodes at 2x speed to get through the sludge that is the sister and her gross schemes. Yes, yes, i know she wasn't well loved by her father but she's still responible for her own actions. Stop being surprised when people reject you for being terrible.
