Me too. He was extremely innocent and to me his actions was never guilt..I believe he fell in love with her from the start. The fact that he respects her and never held her or tried to kiss her even staying and being married to her, all those lovely act of love mien I strongly believe he deserves another chance at love with her. He was forgiven but he needs a chance at love with her. I truly wish there's another season where they meet in US and she falls in love with him. It was a tragic start but he was forced into not reaching out to her and her mother after the accident. He truly went through so much pain for her and her mom. I also think he genuinely loved her mother as his own as well all the way till her death. He saw both parents pass and was there with her as her mother passed as well. This story was undeniably beautiful. But I strongly believe that fate brought them both together and they deserve to stay together.

Expected to see Shen Hou 's wedding with Xiou Xiou as a finale but not so. A .little dissapointed with the ending . Nonetheless this is a beautiful drama filled with trials and tribulations of adolesence to adulthood. Thank you for all the 42 episodes

As we see the ending, Mr. Cheng left Xiaochen and Shen Hou attended the wedding of their classmates, both of them was the only one left in the reception talking, now it us to end with our imagination. Brilliant story drama. I recommend highly to watch this story which is a good lesson to learn from youth, romance, business, family rich or poor and also Driving kills in an instance whether DUI or distraction. BRAVO and thank you

So let me get this straight: the man who killer her father, even though it’s accident, but he schemed his way into her life and her mom’s with lies and deceived, and she forgave him. Her first love, an innocent man, who has done nothing, and knew nothing of his mom mistake, and whom she married and who had sacrificed his relationship with his parent for her, and she hated him, and wanted nothing to do with him? She said she doesn’t want to harbor any hatred to anyone, but her actions are full of hatred. So in the end, she’s rather be with a murder, a liar? That’s bs.

Very intense story three leads are amazing ending was bit disappoint but ok it's differ from other cdrama. I really want xiao with mr.cheng he gave everything when she needs more supportive and care he did well in his character I'm totally in to him. Really underrated drama worth our time specially their acting

Team CHEN CHEN CHEN CHEN He deserves his chance at love with her. Even though he hid a huge secret, he didn't have fault, he loved her AND her mother. He was always reliable and respectful to her and her relationship with Shen. He loved her so much, was willing to give his life for her and respected her decision to be independent of her career and decisions. He was willing to let her go to Shen even though he loves her so. Yes he kept a secret but I strongly believe it was hard for him to tell her and chose to be able to be there for her and not loose her. He helped her mother heal. Even her mother loves him more and blessed their relationship. Please for season 2 and give them that ending. 😢

Series is excited...but very dissapoint not good ending...mr chen and xiao not go together.....

When she dedicated the song to William n her 2 old friends 😍😍😍 I love that ! Instead of Choosing between the two but just treat them both as friends is just phenomenal ! A fair ending ❤ I don’t want her to choose the other one then leave the other hanging 🤣

Well Xiochen is not selfish she can make her own choice, acc to writer i think she dont want to hurt feeling of shen hou and cheng, May be she want to take more time to wait and see. But as per viewers, everyone want cheng to be with xiochen as he also lived in pain for so many years and he deserves love, He also took care of her mother without expecting anything. Writer can give it a happy ending by pairing cheng and xiochen but he didn't.

I agree that she's not selfish. She has to let go of the past and give herself again, find her love either with Cheng, Shen Hou or someone else.

It was an interesting story( I enjoyed it) but lets be real. The father who died was crazy, the mother was crazy and daughter was crazy. Who in their right minds acts like that. The ending made sense. Let the crazy girl go America, she will fit right in, and the the two guys move on with their lives. Too much crazy!!!

If I know the ending would be like this then I won't waste my time 🤣. Why she would hate the ml? He didn't do anything. I thought when they hugged each other in the airplane then they will get back together. I understand why she don't want the 2ndlead but our ml is so pure and innocent.

I love all the episodes, it encourage me alot despite all the difficulties she had, she never lost hope and run towards her goal, it inspire me to move forward .. Thanks for the nice drama

Ending is really suit the Title. 2ML but in the end no one with FL. Started with FLs Dad death & ended in Mom's death.Most of cdrama had ML&FL back together but in here they were together with friendship. It's just that what I saw the End. OK good drama, loved it. Very good Chinese drama but writer is bias, xiao should choose to live happy life with Chen, he is a good man and more mature and caring. Writer should not put pressure on Chen because of xiao’s dad car accident which is not his fault which is cruel for him. That is an accident as her dad ran through the red light and hit his car

She will marry Hou in the future. When she comes back to China, she will come back for Hou. The airplane scene gave that away. Foreshadowing their future together. When ppl face death, we will see their true color, their honest mind etc. How they, at the exact same moment, stood up, ran towards the most important person, the person they love so much, ran to eachother and how they hugged. How she called his name. XiaoXiao also told him that he's the most important person. Now, first, she needs time to heal from her parents death, find real closure now. Hou said to her "I will be here" at the graveyard. THAT'S the line she chose out of the three lines a long time ago. That's also Foreshadowing that they eventually will end up together. XiaoXiao and Hou never loved someone else after their break up, never had some else in their hearts. She never had loved Cheng, never gave him hope, never held hands nor kissed him. He gave her calmness, security for her baby and later mom. She saw him only as a good friend. He fell in love with her after marriage he said. Her first love is her true love, Hou and same goes for Hou. He will wait for her like he always did. Also, his parents at the graveyard, asking for forgiveness from her parents is a sign to me. XiaoXiao forgave everyone. BTW, no one had to be forgiven in case of the tragedy/ accident. XiaoXiao and her mom didn't listen to the police at all. Were so blind with hatred and grief. Mr Yan/dad/hubby ignored the red traffic light, he's the ONLY one to blame. He ran in front of Cheng his car. Definitely not his fault. He did what he could. He's a great human being but too harsh for himself and no one told him that he's INNOCENT except his parents. Hou couldn'tbe blamed, he didn't do ANYTHING WRONG AT ALL and XiaoXiao knows that, said so to him finally. She was stupid and impulsive when she broke up with him. (There I started to dislike her) His mom, Cheng, she herself are also innocent. Grazy mom of XiaoXiao is to blame for her daughter's continuing pain because she blamed her for her husband's death!! How could she. Hou his mom is to blame for their break up and that love pain for her son and XiaoXiao. If she didn't try to break them up, Cheng wouldn't have researched her and nothing would've happened. But 'if had not' ........ that's stupid thinking because it already happened. Endings like these, ppl can fill in themselves, but they Foreshadowed Hou and XiaoXiao together forever. Mom can't ruin anything anymore for he daughter and mom liked Hou very much. Kudos to Y'ALL

You need to go back and watch...he explains what happened after the accident. And you think exactly like she and her Mom.. an accident is an accident. Even her father told him it wasn't his fault. He felt horrible because of killing her father. He married her because of the baby. And fell in love after. We just wanted to fullfil the promise he made with her father and didn't expected to Fall for her. He even tried putting her and Shen together... never tried getting in between them. Please go back and watch

It's a beautiful episodes. Throughly enjoyed it...understanding What real love is all about. Kudos to the actors, actresses, directors, crew, in fact the whole team who made these episodes very enjoyable. It would be nice a nice ending if XiaoXiao marries Mr Cheng..
