The negative comments almost discouraged me. Good story and good ending

I really liked this mini drama. The editing was a little choppy but for a low budget film it did very well. I liked the MLs and liked the fact that the male was true to self throughout. I also really liked there was little or no throat grabbing, no knifing. If you like these little mini dramas this one is better than many.

The actor looks like Timmy Xu. He’s not bad. But the romance definitely lacks sizzle.

Hmm. Problem number one with this drama is that there is almost no touching and no real kisses. Problem number two is that I HATE when FL's are portrayed as if they've never used their legs before, tripping and falling in like every other scene. Are you a mermaid? Is this your first time on land? 🙄 Other problems include people generally being pretty stupid. If you're going to marry a stranger for money, you need the money IMMEDIATELY. Her husband handed her a black card on like day two of their marriage; why not use the card to pay her mother's medical fees, and then fess up at the end of the 3 months. The money is gone your mother is healed, it's not something that can be taken back, NO MATTER WHAT happens next, you've satisfied your own needs instead of being beholden to idiot rich people who are trying to sacrifice you to a curse instead of their own daughter. Same applies when that selfish imposter kidnaps her mother. WHY would I bother lying to my husband that I don't like him? Tell him that lamprey that's trying to attach herself to his balls kidnapped your mother and go save her together. Are they INTENTIONALLY writing her as someone stupid????😮‍💨

ML and FL nme?

Despite what I've read, I thoroughly enjoyed this mini drama. The story revolves around a doppelganger. The acting of the ML and FL (in both roles) were really good. The writing of all characters were acceptable. I enjoyed the fact that the feelings of ML for FL (poor lookalike) was consistent and true. He knew which person he married especially after the switch. The actress who was FL was mediocre in acting and looks but she satisfied the roles depicted. Both FL and ML had chemistry. Unlike what others think that FL was older, I don't agree.

Watching the female lead is as if you are watching a child act. Why can't they cast matured ladies who can act in these kinds of roles. The FL spoilt this movie for me.

Actress did a good job switching between loveable dingbat pancake seller and bratty, rich b*****. Honestly, if you wanted to claim wife status, you shouldn't have disappeared during 'the three month curse' period and made your family get a substitute. It infuriates me that parents feel they have the right to place an adult children under house arrest. 🙄 Yeah, dad was supposedly testing everyone, but still, I've seen this is many dramas and the parents weren't testing anyone. Why does ML always have at least two obsessed chicks bound and determined to marry him? FLs in these dramas rarely get a SML, and even rarer yet, one that actually becomes obsessed. Most gracefully accept her decision and bow out...like this guy who was called an upstart but was actually the leader of some gang/clan/whatever it was.

Just....no. I hope to see the ML in something else later that makes him shine....this was just tragically bad.

7/10 It was okay. A bit long-winded. First the ML is super handsome and a great actor. Shame he was paired with such a whiney, childish, ugly FL. She's just a bit annoying and weak. So a lot of deductions for that. The story is okay, but goes on too long. So okay plot, pace too slow. The clothes are meh, the romantic moments are meh, the ending is meh. It's all just mediocre. Oh I did give an extra point for the family crest. It's the crest of Hogwarts from Harry Potter. So that's funny and gets a point. Otherwise ... Meh. I hope to see ML in another work with suitable FL.
