Looks like that mint soft crunchy candy you get from fancy restaurants or grammas candy bowl. The red and white spiral ones.

This is a great breakdown of the knot, and how to 'move' it. The largest Mathew walker I was able to pull off was 8 strands. It came out great, but I'll never do that many again. Don't know if someone mentioned this, but the Mathew walker knot is the only knot named after a person. little trivia for you.

I have only done one mathew walker knot, but it is fun to do all the little adjustments!

Thanks and yes, this one is a bit tougher for those just starting out. You may want to tie the two stranded version a few times before moving onto this 4 stranded one.
